After the events of tonight, (Y/n) arrived home in a rush, wanting to end this suspenseful and surprising night. Arriving home, opening the doors, young (Y/n) silently without a single word walks to his bed, falling flat onto it's soft surface, letting his face plant straight onto the pillow, closing his eyes and recounting everything that just transpired.

(Y/n): "Emily... her name was Emily..."

Muffling into the pillow, (Y/n) tries his best to fade into slumber.

It was a quiet night, one that would remain a secret to himself only, and for once, he didn't think at all about Catherine.

Meanwhile in the forest, Emily couldn't hold back her excitement, she gracefully swayed around the forest, dancing flawlessly to it's sounds of nature. Her mood was blissful and her undead heart seemed to have begun beating. Lingering on his words of meeting her again tomorrow, she wanted to find something to fill the time until that rendezvous came to be, so she would sing to herself, plan out conversations to bring up and such.

Emily: "Oh (Y/n)... my dear (Y/n)..."

For the first time since her demise, Emily felt alive.

The night had passed and (Y/n) woke up in a pool of sweat, something that had been happening often, perhaps due to his complications with Catherine lately, though he completely understood the reason now.

(Y/n): "Sweat again... must have been because of... her..."

Her referring to young undead Emily, as his encounter and conversation with her did indeed quite cause the stirrup within (Y/n)'s mind and heart.

Raising up from the bed with a struggle, not wanting to get up, he did find some excitement in this day. Despite his first impressions of Emily, he did find her story tragic and her personality to be positively adorable. He did look forward to meeting up with her once again, though unfortunately it would have to wait until afternoon arrives for he had to make his way to work.

After getting dressed, wearing his dress shirt and dark gray slacks, he would exit his home and journey to the bank where he was a teller. In his daily commute, he would usually take the road where Catherine would work but to avoid her, he would take a different route, one that would avoid Catherine at all costs.

It was a normal day, like any other, though it seemed time was ticking ever so slowly for (Y/n), probably because his eagerness to clock out and finish his job was making it seem time was moving slower for him. After the time came for him to leave, he did so as quickly as possible, but the moment he was exiting his bank, he heard a familiar voice that made his stomach churn.

Catherine: "Hey! (Y/n)!"

(Y/n): "Hello Catherine..."

Catherine would let out a small cough, before fixing her coat and tilting her head up at (Y/n).

Catherine: "Where were you all of last night? And this morning I didn't see you heading to work. I was worried."

(Y/n): "Catherine, I... I was busy last night... and I just decided to take a different route to work this time, don't know why... just wanted a change of scenery."

Catherine: "Well it's good to see you're alright though, anyway, since you're off, I'm finally free tonight! Let's go and see one of those theatre acts, they seemed really intriguing."

(Y/n): "You see... I cannot tonight Catherine, nor any other night..."

Catherine: "W-what do you mean?"

Taking a deep breath, (Y/n) prepared himself, as he did his best to compose himself proper for the next few paragraphs that were about to come out of his mouth. Catherine watched with a puzzled look as (Y/n) donned a serious expression, and deep down, she knew what he was going to say.
