"No, a person can't look at their own face it's impossible. Ok why are these lines so stupid?!" Jade asked throwing down the papers in her hand

Her and beck were in his RV practicing for the auditions coming up in a week for the new show uptown downtown. She wanted to get the lead girl penny and beck wanted the male lead which also happened to be penny's love interest

Jade wanted that lead so bad, it was the first big show of the year and it was a big deal to everyone. It even had songs in it which were perfect for her voice

She was sure she would get penny because she always got the leads since sikowitz slightly favoured her. Not her fault she was perfect for everything

"I know I know, here I'll just go from my line alright?" Beck said calmly picking up her script and handing it to her again

"It's ok you don't know"
"But you deserve an answer"
"I can wait for you I would wait a thousand years"

Jade rolled her eyes at her next line "but that's so many!"

Beck ignored her eye roll and continued "I know I'm poor, I know I don't have much to offer but, I do love you"

"Because I'm beautiful?" She asked trying her best to sound all innocent and the opposite of her usual self

"I don't love you because you're beautiful. You're beautiful because I love you"

Jade cracked a small smile at this line, even though it was acting she knew he meant it

He walked over to her and gave a small kiss

"We're gonna ace this audition" he smiled siting down on the couch

"I like this show" she admitted "it's kinda weird but it's got good songs at least so that makes up for all this cliche garbage"

"You're gonna do great" he said confidently "you'll Definitely gonna get penny"

"I know."

The day the cast list came out jade quickly raced to see where it was posted with beck close behind her, along with half the school

Jade gave the list one look before turning around and walking away angrily

Beck quickly looked at it seeing who he got and who jade got and quickly realized why jade was so angry

The rest of that day she was extra rude to tori but when they got to his RV after school she put down her guard since it was just her and beck

Beck walked in first, kicked off his shoes the plunked down on his bed

Jade did the same and lay down next to him so her head was buried in his chest

"She's stupid" she mumbled into his shirt. It felt like the thousandth time he'd heard her say that since tori had arrived at holly wood arts "and I hate her"

Beck didn't object to this this time or tell her to be nicer

How could he? Jade had wanted that role so much and as much as he hated to admit it tori wasn't even that good so jade deserved that role. He just wrapped his arms around her figure tighter to pull her closer to him

"I know baby I know" he replied quietly stroking her hair and giving her head a kiss

He just hoped tori wouldn't do anything else to screw up with jade else she might just rip Tori's head off

Well that was very rushed but hey at least I posted
