The great ping pong scam

"why couldn't she just mind her own business? I mean did she really have to stick her nose where it doesn't belong and ruin the last good thing I have. she couldn't just leave us all be like how it used to be? it used to be perfect before she joined and threw herself at us" jade complained as they walked into the RV the night that they were going to the restaurant with the rest of the "ping pong team". she was really fed up the second she asked to try out for the team but she hoped that it wouldn't go through with her actually joining but now tonight it was all set and ready for her to join

"I dunno I guess she just wanted to hang out with us more" he replied calmly, shrugging off his back pack onto the floor beside his bed

"ok but she doesn't need to hang out with us more! no one wanted her there, not even andre or cat and they love everyone way too much it makes me sick" she continued to complain while throwing up her hands and sitting down on the edge of his bed

"no... people wanted her there" he tried to assure her but as he said it he knew he was wrong

"who? who wanted her there? did you want her there?" she asked crossing her arms and cocking her head to the side

beck paused for a minute trying to figure out a way to not offend toro but also not seem like he was defending her to jade "no..." he finally admitted

she studied him for a minute trying to figure out if he was lying so he quickly tried to diffuse the situation

"what are you gonna wear tonight" he asked while he started rooting through his closet

"probably my purple dress. the one with the sequins." she said while standing up to join him and grab out one of her few dresses she kept at his place

"then ill wear my purple shirt and tie so we match" he said grinning and pulling out his lilac dress shirt and dark purple tie

"you're such a sap" she said swatting him in the arm but still hiding a smile

"but you love me." he smirked

"maybe" she smirked back
