"Mommy! Mommy!" the six-year-old boy, exclaimed.

"What's the matter, sweetheart?"

"I'm scared to go to school tomorrow. What if they don't like me?" the little boy said and looked down at the floor, sadly.

"Elijah, you can trust me that they'll like you and if they don't then that is their loss. You know, Uncle Stiles and Uncle Scott have been best friends since kindergarten. You only need one good friend that will stick with you," Riley told her son while giving a hug. He was still extremely nervous, but his mother's words had eased the little boy's nerves just a little bit.

"Mommy, can we go see Uncle Scott?" The little boy asked looking hopeful, but it was almost his bedtime.

"No, Sweetie Uncle Scott needs to prepare for school tomorrow, and you need to get a good night's sleep for your first day." The little boy looked at his mom with a sad look. "How about I ask Scott and Stiles if they'll pick you up tomorrow after school and you can hang with them, while Mommy works?"

"Yes! Thank you, Mommy!" The little boy ran up the stairs to go to bed.

Riley walked into the kitchen to see Ryker standing at the island drinking water. "Hey you won't need to pick up Elijah tomorrow, he wants to hang with Scott and Stiles."

"Oh, good, I was going to see if you could get them to pick him up anyway. I have to go to an art show tomorrow. I should be back in a few days," The blonde-haired male said. Ryker is Riley's best friend, without him they would probably be living on the streets.

"Yeah, I just have to call Stiles. He will be more than willing. They adore Elijah."

Riley picked up the phone to call Stiles. Knowing that where ever Stiles is, so is Scott. The phone rang a couple of times before Stiles picked up. "Hello," said the voice of the Sheriff.

"Hey Sheriff, is Stiles there?"

"Yep," the sheriff said in a voice that I knew Stiles had gotten himself into trouble.

"Can I please speak to him?" Riley said. The sheriff was like a father figure to Riley. She heard Stiles and the sheriff talking and she thinks she heard something about an invasion of privacy, but she wasn't sure.

"Hey, Riley," Stiles said.

"Hey Stiles, do you think you and Scott could pick up Elijah tomorrow and hang out with him? I told him I would ask you."

"Absolutely. Elijah is my favorite Jedi," Stiles said, referring to Star Wars.

"Thank you so much! Ryker has an art show to go to, so he's going to be gone for about a few days, so if you could get him until Ryker comes back that would be amazing, but if you can't I can figure out something else."

"No, of course, I can," Stiles said thinking about all the mischief he and Elijah could cause.

Riley of course knows this. "Thank you Stiles, but please don't get him into trouble."

"I'll try, trouble is sort of a magnet to me." She heard the Sheriff scoff in the background causing her to laugh.

"Thanks again, Stiles, bye." Riley hung up the phone and went upstairs to make sure Elijah is asleep, and then went to her room and went to sleep.

"Elijah! let's go. We are going to be late."

Elijah came running down the stairs. He had a flannel shirt and a pair of jeans. His black hair was gelled back to look like a bunch of spikes and his hazel eyes were looking more green today than brown. He still had a nervous look on his face.
