Crossed Nightmare

      I want to make a story where Cross ends up almost dying and Nightmare has like only just realize that he actually cares for Cross and decides to save his life with the only thing he can think of. He tells Cross to eat his SOUL. Cross is confused and tells Nightmare no. He doesn't want Nightmare to die. So... He gives him a dark apple, covered in goop, to eat. Or he shoves it down Cross's throat, whatever you want for the story if you adapt it into your own. Little does Cross know, it's actually Nightmare's SOUL. Or maybe he does know, whatever works better for you if you write something using this concept. The two end up painfully fusing together. Maybe their minds will remain seperate in the same body, maybe Nightmare will be gone forever and Cross will be corrupted, maybe the two's minds are slowly fusing together, and/or they start seeing each others memories. You don't have to keep every detail of this if you're inspired.

Anybody is free to adopt this. I would love to see anybody's spin on this.
