new story?

hey guys, I know I haven't posted in a while, but I've been working on a new story idea and I wanted to know what you guys think.

Story line                                                                                                                                                                            Jordan is a teenager almost in his last year of high school. He has a difficult home life, but doesn't want anyone's pity. He is known as the golden boy of the town, always helping people out. He is very good at soccer, but underneath he is a total geek and enjoys reading and playing video games. He is well liked by his peers, some in more romantic ways than others. He focuses on school and supporting his family, as his mother is sick and his father had left them 3 years ago. This is his journey through his senior year dealing with his family issues with some high school drama thrown in.

so.... pls let me know if you think I should continue with this idea. I've already started figuring out some of the other characters, and I think this could be fun to write. I hope you like it!
