sneaky

'follow me,' i said, trying to clear my name and prove my innocence, 'my next task is the scanner. watch me do it and we can erase me off the suspect list.'
there were seven of us left, yellow had just died and everyone thought i had self reported since that round was really quick.
'i'll come with you.' pink said. great, i finally got someone to trust me.
'let's skip this vote.' black said, 'if one of you two dies, we'll know who one of the impostors are.'
we voted to skip, indicating we all understood.
no one was ejected. (skipped)
we appeared in the cafeteria again and pink and i immediately headed to medbay. once we reached the scanner, i stepped onto it and started scanning myself. but as soon as the neon green hologram grid appeared, pink just up and left the room, leaving me on the scan all by myself. i guess they saw enough.
all of a sudden, i hear the doors shut and the vent in the room opened. out hopped purple and immediately went for the kill.
they hopped back into the vent and left my body that was cut in half to be found by another crewmate.
sneaky little-
i hover over my own body and in comes black walking in, probably to check if something happened, seeing my body on the scanner and reporting it.
'so we can all agree that pink is it, right?' they said, completely oblivious to what actually happened.
'no! wait! it wasn't me!' pink objected, panicking.
'i don't know about that, everything is pointing to you.' purple said, smart move.
'no! listen! i went into medbay with brown, they started scanning, so i left knowing that they're not it. someone must've gone in there after me to kill brown while they were scanning to frame me!'
'not true. i was at security watching the cameras, nobody walked in after you left.' lime said.
'then the impostor must've vented in, killed brown, and then vented out again!' pink tried to prove themselves innocent, but the other crewmates didn't believe that as they started voting.
'sorry, man. you're still pretty sus.' red said, probably being the other impostor.
'wait, is no one gonna acknowledge that green died too?' lime said, trying to further the discussion with the hundred seconds left of voting time.
'that's not of importance right now.' black said, 'just finish voting and get this over with, we still have to figure out who the other impostor is.'
everyone finished voting. even pink voted for themselves, knowing that they had no other chance of getting out of the suspect list.
pink was ejected.
so much for a game of among us i guess.
