"Dissatisfaction is a great starting point, for it is right there that we have the most power, strength, and energy to push change through." - David DeNotaris.
Dashing downstairs, I'm welcomed by a delicious smell of aloo palak poori and Ginger tea.
Rapidly I move towards the dining table, where my two cousins (Akash and Nk) are already present, and make my presence known by pulling out a chair that is opposite to Akash.
"Good morning, bhai(brother),"
Akash cheerfully greets me."Good morning, Nannav, bhai," NK greets, opening his mouth wide like a hippopotamus showcasing his chewed food. He is sitting next to Akash.
There is nothing good about this morning. Of course, I don't say that out loud. Instead, I force a smile and reply, "Good morning, guys."
Akash Raziada, age 12, and Nirav Kabir Raziada (NK), age 10, are Mama and Mami's children.
Akash is a silent and shy type of guy when around strangers. With his family, he is a different story.
NK, on the other hand, is talkative; be it with a family member or an outsider, his presence must be known. He has gained a nickname - 'Apna radio'. He can talk from morning until night, and they say girls talk. I don't think Mama and Mami were expecting him to turn out like this when they named him Nirav - meaning quiet/silent.
