Author's note: Hey guys... It's been a long time since I last updated huh? Yeah... I was hospitalized for a while for mental issues, but don't worry! I'm feeling much better now so I should be able to post regularly again. Enough about me, let's got on with the story!

I awoke with a start, Eyes wide as I gazed up at the sky. The last thing I could remember was teleporting the demons and I into the forest of Nadar. It was a magical forest bordering the human kingdom and the kingdom of the fae. This was where I was planning to go in the first place once I found a map of this planet.

Nadar had a barrier around the outside, keeping humans out and magical creatures in. It was relatively large, about a fourth of the human kingdom as a whole. The land was neutral ground. No-one owned it since no-one could get into it. In my opinion, it was the ultimate defense.

Brushing that out of my mind, I slowly sat up, only to find the demons sitting around the small field, simply talking and planning as well as taking care of their wounded. They were... Civilized and kind. Oh so different from humans.

A clanking sound caught my attention as a tall woman dropped a small bucket of water on the ground staring at me.

After a few moments, the entire field was looking at me, making my social anxiety flair up. How could I have been so stupid!? I don't know these demons! They could want me dead simply because I was a different species, like those that had harmed them...

After another minute of silence, the so-called leader of the demons stepped forward, before taking a knee in front of me, followed by the rest of the demons.

They... They're bowing to me... To one who they don't even know is of the same species... Is it because I saved them? Because I'm strong?

"My lord, this humble one thanks you're kindness." I widen my eyes before bowing my head slightly, not daring to look the man in the eyes. He can't just...

I stand, albeit unsteadily, gazing down at the man with a frown. He shivers. "Stand" I look at the others. "All of you."

The demons slowly rose albeit reluctantly. They seemed slightly fearful yet awed by my display of power before. I turn my gaze onto the leader once more.

"You sicken me." The man gasps and clenches his jaw as the others widen their eyes and whisper. "How can you bow before someone so easily? And you're calling yourself their leader?"

     "M-my liege-"

"No. Do not place upon me that title, if you do then you are lowering yourself beneath me." I shake my head. "Hold yourself in high regard, don't grovel in front of me again, nor anyone for that matter. That goes for all of you"

The man's hair shadows his eyes for a long moment as silence reigns. It was only a few moments later when he looked up at me with determination clear in his eyes.

     "Be our leader!"

He said nothing else, instead simply waited with bated breath as he hoped I'd accept his offer. The silence stretched on longer and longer till I snickered.

"I'm seven years old," I paused, my laughter beginning to heighten. "I berated you, and I don't even look the same species as you." I sigh slightly. "Yet you want me to be your leader?"

The man, taking my words as denial, frowned and rebuked. "Your intellect is far beyond your years and such magic can not be hidden away. You are as much a demon as I. You've proven yourself to be merciful and kind as well as stern and humble. We would be honored to have you as our leader."

It was strange, to say the least. How come they know I'm a demon? I've hidden myself carefully and made sure that no-one even had an inkling of an idea that I was actually a Vampire.

After a moment of hesitation, I sigh and let my ears and tail retract and my fangs lengthen and sharpen. My complexion turned a stark white and my fingers sharpen to a point as the pitch black horns sprouted from my head and twisted back around my head and up. My hair lengthened down to my knees even as I finally show my actual body.

After it was done, I stretched and gave a small smile. "It's been too long..." After looking up at the sky for a while lost in thought, I look back to the demons and vampires who stared at me in awe.

"Fine. I accept." The people broke out in laughter and smiles. How could people who have been hurt all their lives still have so much strength? So much hope and happiness... "While I say this, I will have someone be my right hand. To guide me and help with decisions."

The man nodded with excitement. I'll have to get to know these people. Understand their needs and wants. Come up with a plan. I'm only one person, however, I can not do everything alone. That can be sorted out once the injured are healed and we have a roof over our heads.

For a few moments longer, I let the demons rejoice for their small victory. Once they're finished I ask the previous leader's name. "Kazer," he told me. Strange, but I seemed to like it.

"First thing's first, I want all the injured to be healed. If any of you have any at all experience with treating wounds or with healing magic, step forward." It was quiet for a moment before a slightly plump lady stepped forward followed by a young man and an older woman who appears to be related to the man. Mother perhaps?

"I know the basics for patchin' wounds" the plump lady spoke to me with an accent that I couldn't quite decipher. It appeared she had worked with knights before the revolt happened. The other two seemed to be gifted with healing magic. However, the young man seemed only slightly versed in the ways of a healer.

I brought them to what appeared to be where they wounded the wounded up. I sent the slightly injured to the man, more injured to the lady, and heavily injured to the old woman. They did quite well if I had to say, however, there was one that I couldn't help but be worried about.

She was a short, scrawny little woman, obviously not given enough to eat and her shivering even though it wasn't cold showed her fear. There was a pasty color to her skin, not natural as it probably shouldn't have been like that. There was a large wound on the woman's shoulder, running down her back. I'm sure her shivering did nothing for the pain or blood-loss.

The old woman tried to help the short girl, but she could barely close the wound after the plump lady sanitized it. The blood-loss seemed to be getting to her as well, barely shivering anymore and eyes half-closed.

"Give her here." My tone was demanding and forced people to listen. The old woman hesitated before placing her gently down onto the ground onto her stomach before me. I picked up a rock as clean as I could find and molded it in my hands like clay thanks to magic.

The demons looked at me in wonder as I made a tube with syringes on both ends. Carefully, I nicked the woman's arm, barely any blood coming to the surface before I wiped it off with my finger and dipped it into my mouth. Blood type AB+ I quickly sighed in relief before looking up at Kazer. "Do you want her to live?"

The man violently shook his head, yes and I quickly grabbed his arm, inserting the needle as gently as I could into a vein on his arm before placing the other into the little lady. The blood flowed down the tube with a little resistance and entered the girl. It took perhaps fifteen minutes before I decided that the woman wouldn't die from blood loss.

I just saved these demons and I'm already saving their God damn lives again. This... will be a long trial.
