It's been 2 years. 2 years since the incident. 2 years since Aaron Hotchner lost his world. 2 years since everyone on the team lost a piece themselves when they lost her.
"Hey, Hotch. The new recruits are here." Reid said, poking his head into Hotch's office. "Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Hotch said, nodding at the young doctor. Hotch sighed as he filled out the last part of his paperwork regarding their last case. He looked at the picture on his desk of Y/N and him. He missed her. He was getting better each day but it wasn't the same without her. "I miss you." Hotch softly said as he picked up the picture.
"Here goes nothing." he mumbled, as he got up and walked out of his office.
"Welcome, new recruits, to the Y/N Y/LN FBI Training Academy."
