Before Note: Yūrei is a type of Yokai, their names translates to faint spirit or ghost. Other names and appearances exist for different variations of yūrei. Yūrei will haunt one particular place or person and won't stop until they've fulfilled its purpose, put to rest, or have been exorcised. Each haunting is as unique as the person, and the people who have died suddenly, tragically, violently, or have grudge and malice in their heart can not pass on and transform into Yūrei.

I was in the hallway corridors throw a school and I heard someone, weeping? I listened and came towards the sound which lead to the rooftop where I saw the silhouette of a boy and it seems like he was the one crying. I called out.
"Oi, who are you, why are you okay?" He slowly turns his head around where I saw him, he was not in a normal boys uniform, but in traditional burial dress, with blood staining the white garments red. I saw his face in slow motion. I remember vividly, those beautiful green eyes, glossed by his tears. His lovely freckles looking like rain drops in clear white sand. I called to him once again,
"What are you doing here?" After I asked that question, a bright light appeared revealing a bridge to the other world.
"Thank you..." I heard his silk like voice and like that, he dissapered.
I opened my eyes and realized it was just a dream. I pulled on my face and groaned. I've been having that same dream for days now and everytime I see the dream, it gets more real. I got out of bed and stretched. I should really talk to someone about this.
I did my daily essentials and went on my way to school cause I know the people who could help me.
"Bye Nastuo, bye Fuyumi!" And like that, I went out, did my chores around the shrine, and went to school.

"You know what I want." I groaned and handed Denki the chestnuts from my shrine and he took him with ease.
"I don't know why you like my shrines chestnuts so much." He popped one in his mouth and put the sac of chestnuts in his bag.
"You don't get it, they're sooo good!" He giggled and wiped his mouth.
"So what did you need?" We were walking to class and I pulled him aside.
"Denki, you're the only one who can possibly help me out with my situation; You may be a literal idiot with well everything, but there's no one else more knowledgeable on Yokai. You see, I keep having visions." He smiled.
"Wow, son of the Ho-musubi shrine, (Shinto god of fire) and child of Yuki Onna (Yuki Onna is a snow woman) herself, needs my help?" I just rolled my eyes.
"You know, I'm not the only one who's the child of a god, Denki Kaminari, son of Raijin." (Raijin or Raiden is shinto god of lightning)
"Yep, that's me." He did lame finger guns and end up shocking himself.
"Ouch!" I smirked and held in a laugh.
"That's what you get." He smiled and wrapped an arm around my neck.
"Is the great Shouto laughing? You know, us fellow children of gods need to stick together, with us considered freaks and all by the common people." I nicely removed his arm from on me.
"Speaking of which, where's Iida? I'd usually go for him for seals and spells."
"Oh him," Denki thought really hard for a moment and had a lightbulb moment,
"Ohhhhh, I totally forgot! Iida told me that he'd be writing protection seals while they exorcise a 3rd rate Yokai with Kirishima and Bakugou." He leaned real close to me.
"And you didn't hear this from me, but that exorcist Bakugou, has the temperament of a Goryō. (A warrior ghost whose sole existence is for vegence) One wrong breath and you step on a land mine!" He just kept talking and talking where the point I had to stop cause classes we're about to start and I figured this out. I grabbed his shoulders.
"Denki, Denki! My dream," He blinked a few times and was brought out of his little world.
"Oh yeah, tell me what your dream was about." I was about to tell him and then the school bell rang.
"Uggh, I'll tell you later. Come on, let's get to class." We went into Aizawa-Sensei's class and he began his lecture and it was so boring and my eyelids were getting heavier and heavier.
I'm here again? Did class end? I must've sleep all through out his lecture but I don't remember the bell ringing. Bring! I guess it was late today. Students were flooding the corridor and I saw that same head of green hair. He turned to look at me and it looks like he was... crying? I went closer and he became frightened and ran away. I don't know why but I felt compelled to chase after him.
"Hold on wait!" He started running faster.
"I'm sorry that I scared you! Are you upset? I saw that your eyes are red." He ran faster and faster where I ended up on the roof to.
"Hello?" I started looking around for him and I didn't see him. I was near the edge and looked out and then down...
I saw his body smeared on the pavement with a blood splatter all around his body. He looked so pale and still. I stepped back and wanted to scream but when I did... I was back in Aizawa-Sensei's classroom, wide awake.
"Todoroki-San, would you mind telling us the formula to this equation?" I stood up and bowed.
"I'm sorry sir, I don't know." I sat back down, praying that I don't have anymore attention on me.
"Than maybe next time you should pay attention to my lectures and not dose off." I held my head low, speaking faint.
"I'm sorry sir, it won't happen again sir." He turned back to the chalk board and continued teaching.
It was the last 5 minutes of quiet time, which is basically the teacher sleeping and us staying silent so he can sleep. I was so bored and then Denki passed me a note.
"Pssssssssstttt Bro, read my note!" He whisper shouted.
"You know if you're gonna whisper like that then there's no point passing notes." He kept jabbing me with the note and it was getting on my nerves.
"Ugh Denki!" I said a little too loud. He woke up and looked directly looked at me and Denki covered my mouth.
"Todoroki, Denki, Hallway!" For a Moment I felt as if I couldn't move. I grabbed Denki and went into the Hallway and I immediately turned and looked at Denki furious and he shyly laughed.
"Denki," I grabbed his collar, but I decided it wasn't worth it and let him and we just walked aimlessly in the corridor in the last minutes of the hour.
"Sooooo, tell me about your dreams, maybe I can be of service." I smirked.
"You know the only reason the priest keep such a troublesome guy around is because you're Raijin's son, and you know so much about Yokai." He just smiled and gave me a thumbs up.
"Yep, that's me. So your dream?" He asked.
"Oh yeah right, so every time I go to sleep I keep having visions of this boy and he's beautiful but he weeps every time I see him. Then I got this new vision today where I was chasing him and I was on the rooftop and I saw his newly corpse." He thought hard about it and had his hand holding his chin.
"Us children of Gods have special powers. I can produce small shocks from my fingertips."
"May those shocks scramble your brain." I flicked his forehead.
"Ouch, I was just gonna say that maybe your powers are fore sight. That or you're being possessed by a Kanashinari (sleep paralysis demon)." I just rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry but I don't feel trapped in  my sleep. It's just a realistic dream, I think." He thought more on it.
"Hey, maybe you can only identify Yokai in your sleep!"
"That... actually makes sense Denki. How can I be sure?" He put his hand on my shoulder.
"Look, dreams are closer to Yomi (where the dead reside in Shinto belief) then we believe my friend. It is easier to see visions and spirits in that REM state." I still didn't know cause I feel like there's more to the story.
"Hey, don't look down. The rest of the Demi-Gods who go here will be at a bonfire on the Futo Coast." I groaned.
"I... don't know. You know how I am with people. The only reason I talk to is because you kind off forces me into this friendship, same with Iida." He lightly punched me.
"Harsh, I thought you liked me." I laughed a bit.
   "Yeah, you're okay."
"See, sometimes you need a push. So come with me tonight, Ōmagatoki. (The hour of meeting evil spirits)." I scratched the back of my head.
"That's late."  He blew the fact over and continued.
"Psh, it's okay cause it's Friday, tomorrow's the weekend and I just plan to relax." He leaned in closer to me and I just pushed him away.
"Unlike the carelessness of you, I actually help to maintain Ho-subui's shrine." He pushed me back.
"Ah, you're just afraid to live a little." I looked at him and he gave me puppy dog eyes.
"Please Bro, The daughter of Kichijōten, (Shinto goddess of beauty, happiness, and fertility) Momo's gonna be there," He kept elbowing me as if it made his offer more tempting.
"I'm not interested in girls." He laughed.
"Yeah, you're more interested in that sleep paralysis demon, I bet if I put on a long black wig and a dirty hitaikakushi (forehead covering) and burial kimono and you'd pay more attention to me." The bell rung and we were walking to class.
"If you were like that, you'd give me more of a reason to ignore you." He hit me.
Ah, rude! Just, be there okay, for me." I groaned.
"Oh okay!" He pumped his fist into the air.
"Hell yeah! Don't forget, Futo Coast, Bonfire, Ōmagatoki." I slightly smiled.
"I got it." He started skipping off to his next class and I went to my respective class thinking about how a complete idiot convinced me to go to a beach with other people, especially with how antisocial I am at the most ungodly hours that Yokai are most likely to appear.
