The sun peeked through my blinds, and I opened my eyes, taking in the world around me. I laid there, lost in thought, contemplating the day ahead. It was a Saturday morning, and I didn't have much planned. My mum was out of town, or at least I assumed she was. Everyone seemed busy today. Harry said he was busy, Daniel was hanging out with a girl he likes, and Abigail had a doctor's appointment. That left me all by myself.

I let out a deep sigh as I glanced over at my guitar. It was surprisingly sunny for England. A thought popped into my head, and I decided to go for it. I got up, got myself ready for the day. I fixed my short blonde hair, put on a gray T-shirt, black baggy jeans, and tied a red checked shirt around my waist. Before heading out, I added some bracelets - one with a heart, stars, leaves, and a planet - and topped it off with a watch.

I got my guitar and notepad and left the house. I walked down the street and into a small park nearby. There was a lonely tree near a little pond, isolated from the main part. I found myself taking in the scenery. It was calming and peaceful. I enjoy the peace, but sometimes it can be lonely. I would love to have someone next to me. I don't mind the silence, just having a presence beside me would feel nice.

I slowly strummed my guitar, thinking of a song that came to mind. 'Stick Season' by Noah Kahan came to mind, so I began to sing the lyrics softly to myself. When I sing, it's like the world around me fades away, as if I'm the only person in this cruel, sad world. Singing helps me forget about the awful past I've lived through, like how my mother hates me for his death and how my father left. It makes me forget everything.

I was so deep into the song that I didn't realize I had company. After finishing the song, my eyes landed on an adorable dog sitting and looking at me, its tongue sticking out. I smiled at the dog and looked around to see if I could find the owner. That's when I saw a tall, mysterious figure walking towards me. It turned out to be Miss Jones. I was surprised to see her. My eyes quickly scanned her body. She was wearing black leggings that beautifully highlighted her thighs and butt, a white tank top, and a gray thin cardigan.

Beautiful.

My heart was pounding against my chest, and I couldn't help but glance nervously at her face as she cleared her throat. A deep blush spread across my cheeks, and I tried to ignore the tingling feeling that surged through me.

"Miss Jones, hi," I stammered, setting my guitar aside and standing up. "Is the dog yours?" Miss Jones smiled and nodded, confirming that the dog was indeed hers. She crouched down to put the leash on Murphy's collar.

"He is. His name is Murphy, and he's quite the troublemaker," Miss Jones said, glaring at Murphy, who smiled innocently as if he hadn't just run away from his owner. I chuckled softly as I crouched down to stroke behind his ear. I could feel Miss Jones' eyes on my arms, and my insecurities about my exposed scars started to creep in. I quickly stood up, plastering a smile on my face, pretending not to notice her gaze, and she pretended not to see the scars.

"You sing?" Miss Jones pointed out the guitar and notepad.

"Oh yeah, I guess," I shrugged. "I'm not that good or anything, but I enjoy writing my own songs and playing."

"You out taking photos?" I asked, noticing the camera hanging from her neck. Miss Jones looked down and realized she still had the camera on. She softly smiled and took it off.

"Yeah, I thought it would be nice. It's been a little while since I've taken any photos," she said with a smooth voice that melted like butter. My heart started racing, and I couldn't quite understand why. Maybe it was just a small crush, innocent really. "Do you want to see them? They might give you some ideas for your project," she asked, bringing me back from my thoughts. I couldn't help but smile brightly, feeling excited to see the beautiful pictures taken by such a lovely woman. I barely knew her, but there was this sense of safety and comfort around her. Maybe it was just my mommy issues talking, I thought to myself.

"I would love to see them!!" I exclaimed with excitement, clapping my hands together like a little child. Miss Jones chuckled and handed me the camera. Instantly, I fell in love. The first image was a bunch of roses, my favorite flower. I know it's basic and classic, but they were just so beautiful. The next photo captured a beach at sunset, and it looked absolutely breathtaking. "They are so beautiful," I whispered, looking up at Miss Jones, who was standing close to me. Our eyes locked, and my heart skipped a beat. I smiled and tried to ignore the fluttering feeling. "You truly have a talent, Miss Jones."

"Evelyn," Miss Jones said. "Call me Evelyn."

"Evelyn," I repeated, testing the name on my tongue, savoring how beautiful it sounded. I smiled, loving the sound of it.

After a while, we had to go our separate ways and get back to our daily lives. I felt a bit sad as I watched Evelyn leave with her adorable dog, Murphy. But despite that, I went home feeling happier than I did yesterday or this morning. I jumped onto my bed and let out a deep sigh. I couldn't wait for Monday now!
