(Y/N)'s POV:
I awoke to that same bell sound. 'Ding dong, bing bong'.
"Good morning, everyone! It is now 7 a.m. and nighttime is officially over! Time to rise and shine! Get ready to greet another beee-yutiful day!" Monokuma's voice rang through the monitor before it shut off.
"I really don't want to have to hear that voice every morning." I mumbled and got out of bed.
I walked out of my dorm and made my way to Naomi's door when I bumped into someone.
"Oh, sorry about that." I apologized.
I looked at the person I had bumped into and saw that it was Makoto. "Oh! Makoto, where are you heading off to this morning?" I asked.
"I was going to head off to Sayaka's room." He replied.
"Oh~ I see." I said with a smirk.
His face turned red and he started to protest. "N-No! It's not like that!"
I laughed. "I know, I'm just messing with you, sorry." I said.
I wiped the imaginary tears from my eyes and waved by to him before continuing my way towards my best friend's dorm.
I stopped when I saw Taka,
"I should greet him." I thought.
"Hey, Taka." I said.
"Ah! Good morning, (Y/N)!" He shouted.
"Jeez, so much energy, even at seven in the freaking morning." I thought.
"Good morning." I reply.
"Yes, morning greetings are quite a delight! Such an energizing way to start the day! Now then, let's make sure we both do our very best throughout the day!" He exclaimed.
"Okay, will do." I replied.
With a wave I walked to in front of Naomi's room and rang the doorbell.
The handle turned and Naomi stepped out.
"Morning, (Y/N)." She greeted.
"Good morning!" I say and give her a hug.
She hesitates before hugging me back. (A/N: Do I kind of ship (Y/N) & Naomi? Yes, yes I do.) Naomi's not that used to hugs, so I don't give her ones often, but I thought we'd both need one because of the events of yesterday. I backed away from her and put my hands on my hips.
"You ready for today?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Let's go to the dining hall! I'm starving." I say.
She chuckles lightly.
"You're always hungry." She said.
I nodded in agreement, it was true after all. A bonus of being Naomi's friend for years is she opens up to you more, it took maybe about nine months for her to open up to me and my brother when we first met her, but now she's like a part of our family. I'm really grateful for her. Anyways, we walked into the dining hall and we were met with Saki, Sakura and Hina.
"Oh! Good morning guys." I say.
Saki looks up from the table she was starting at, she must've been lost in thought.
"Morning!" She said with her angelic smile.
I swear, her smile could brighten up a pitch black room.
