(Y/N)'s POV:
I held the Monokuma File we had each revived.
"I should probably look through this before I start investigating." I thought.
I took a couple deep breaths before opening up the file. It read:
'The victim was Sayaka Maizono. The time of death is estimated to be around 1:30 a.m. The body was discovered in Makoto's room, in the dormitory. All evidence suggests that the death took place in the bathroom. The cause of death was a stab wound to the abdomen. There was also an injury to her right wrist. Specifically, the wrist appears to have suffered a fracture.'
I sighed and closed the file.
"Am I really ready for this? No, the question I should be asking is: Am I actually going to help the others solve this? Or will I just be the thing that drags the rest down? No! I have to think optimistically! I'll be fine. I just have to investigate a murder. Shouldn't be to hard." As I was having this mental debate with myself I hadn't realized that Makoto was talking to himself, but I payed no mind to it.

The three of us then began to walk towards Makoto's room, or in this case it more specifically known as the scene of the crime. As we entered the room a shiver ran up my spine as I looked around at the scratch marks all around the room.
"Jesus, what the hell happened in here?" I mumbled to myself and began investigating.
I noticed Sakura and Mondo standing in front of the bathroom as if they were bodyguards. I found it a bit... comforting. I mean, they were both pretty strong, I assume, so if the killer tries anything, they'll beat them up without question. Anyway, I walked over to where Makoto was kneeling down in front of a key, his room key to be exact.
"Hmm...this is Makoto's room key, but...why is it on the ground? It doesn't make sense, Monokuma told us to keep these with us at all times because they can't be remade. So, if Makoto really is the killer, why would he just leave that there?" I wondered.
I did find it weird earlier, I would've immediately assumed that Makoto would have his room key with him but no... it was here laying on the ground.
"But wait... If that's true, then...how did the killer get into the room in the first place?" I heard Makoto mutter from beside me.
I tilted my head and glanced at Naomi who simply shrugged in response and continued to investigate the scratches on the ground.
"What was Makoto talking about...?" I wondered.
"Well...maybe she dropped the key somewhere, and someone else grabbed it or something." Makoto muttered again.

I glanced over at him once more before standing up. Something caught my eye and I walked over towards it.
"A lint roller...?" I muttered.
I heard footsteps and out of the corner of my eyes I saw Naomi.
"Huh, that's strange." She muttered then looked over her shoulder.
"Hey, Makoto." She called.
