Third Person POV

Today is the day Tilly thought, July 24th. Today she should get her Letter from Hogwarts, that was if Dumbledore excepted. Severus has tried to explain to her that she would have been excepted, not only is she an extortionary witch, but also his daughter. Add on that Tilly knows Dumbledore. Tilly was one-hundred per cent getting into Hogwarts. Waiting for either Severus's owl Duke; who was a dark black, with piercing orange and black eyes. Or the family of two's bat Shade, to bring her Letter. Tilly's acceptance letter to Hogwarts would arrive in the mail any day now. Severus is sitting at the kitchen table while Tilly is pacing in front of him. When Tilly woke up this morning, she opened all of the windows and doors in the house. So, Duke can fly right through one of the upstairs windows and down to the Father and daughter, dropping the mail on the table—rushing to grab the Letters as fast as a bolt of lightning crashing down when Tilly's emotions get out of hand. Sorting through the mail chucking the rest of the mail and a startled Severus. Tilly found her Letter, slowly opening it, too worried to find out her fate. The envelope had

The whole time while reading the Letter Tilly's smile grows. Severus watches as his daughter smile takes over her face, the sun comes streaming in through the windows onto Tilly's face, giving it a soft sweet glow.

"Dad! I got in. When can we go to Diagon Alley?" Tilly squealed the news to her Father, even if Snape already knew, as Tilly was on his class list. Severus laughed at how excited Tilly was to go to school.

"Well I want to get everything before we go to the Malfoy's for your birthday next week, and Draco wishes to go with you. If you want?" Severus watches Tilly's reaction to this,

"Of course, Draco can come. You can spend some time with Cissy and Uncle Lucius!" Snape found it weird how close Tilly was to Lucius; he is such a hateful man. Lucius seemed to have a soft spot of Tilly, Severus had as to no clue why, but he figured it had to do with both himself, Draco and Narcissa.

"Great, you and I can floo over later." Severus left the kitchen with his tea walking into the lounge Tilly

turning to run upstairs then having a horrific thought.

"Dad!" Tilly shouted at the top of her lungs as thunder sounded from outside. She was angry. "I have to do potions, which means you have to be my teacher!" Tilly sighed exasperatedly.

"Did that not come to mind until now?" Snape asks Tilly, his anger also raising at how upset Tilly sounds to have him as a teacher. "I am not good enough. Would you rather not have me as your teacher or even your Father?" Snape snapped, his anger through the roof, as he stood from his chair he sat in. His rath wavered near the end at the thought of Tilly not wanting him as her Father.

"Dad," Tilly spoke in a calm voice to Severus, lowering herself into the couch pulling Severus down as well. "I love You! I would never want a different Father. I yes, I want you as my teacher, it just means that we'll see different sides to each other. We won't be Father and daughter; we'll be teacher and student. I don't know if I can do that." Snape anger faded at Tilly's words. She wasn't mad that he was going to be her teacher; she was angry; they would have to act like they weren't family. Snape's demeanour softened.

"Pumpkin, it'll be hard, but I have to tell you I'm not the kindest teacher. Most students outside of Slytherin hate me. Also, just because we can't be Father and daughter, we can still be the Best teacher and favourite student!" Severus smiled, Tilly is happy with this response, to such a degree. Why would the students hate her Dad? Then she remembered that he has a much tougher, ruff, stern and mean; outer layer that only Tilly sees under.

"Ok, I can deal with that. I kept up with my mind speaking and reading so we can always do that. If we have to, of course." Tilly stuttered worried Severus wouldn't let her use her powers. Snape just nodded. Tilly kisses his cheek, getting a book, waiting to leave for the Malfoy's to go to Diagon Alley.
