~Harry

So many thoughts raced through my head as my feet hit the grass of the quidditch field.

Was everything okay? Was he hurt? Did someone threaten him? Did he want to break off whatever it was was we had going?

I pushed all the negative thoughts (or at least I tried to) to the back of my head.

"Draco?" I called out.

"Harry is that you?" I heard him whisper.

"No it's Merlin, himself," I rolled my eyes.

"Ha ha smart ass," Draco crawled down from one of the seats.

"Why are you hiding?" I asked.

"Well Snape got to you didn't he? I know I'm next," he said.

I waited for him to reach me. Apparently it takes a long time to climb down from the stands. I never sat in them so I didn't know.

"Snape is grasping for straws," I said.

"What makes you think that?" He frowned.

"All he could do was cast idle threats at me,"

"Harry, an idle threat is still a threat," Draco's tone was one of a teacher reprimanding a student.

I paused and took him in.

He looked a little more tired than usual and maybe even a little more thin.

I caused this stress on him.

"Draco, I shouldn't have brought you into this..." I whispered.

"It's not your fault, I still want revenge on Snape as much as you do,"

"Yes but if I would have listened to you maybe-,"

"-Harry you never listen to anyone, how is this any different?" He laughed.

"Because I don't want to hurt you anymore,"

"You aren't hurting me Harry!" He exclaimed.

"Look at you," I said, "you look like you haven't slept in days,"

"Thanks," he snapped.

"So.. why did you want me to come out here?" I asked.

"I need to know exactly what Snape said to you," he replied.

"He wanted to know who did it with me," I answered.

"So he knows!" He raised a finger.

"I didn't tell him anything!"

"Harry, silence speaks volumes," he shook his head.

"Well when he talks to you, you have to deny it too,"

"Of course I will, you idiot," Draco sneered.

Like I did a thousand times before, I plopped onto the grassy field. I cringed at the dewy residue on the blades, making my ass saturated with water.

"How was your day?" I asked uncomfortably.

"Marvelous,"

"Hmm,"

"You're so awkward Harry," he smirked.

I flushed but thankfully it was still pretty dark out.

"How long have you been out here?" I tried out another question.

"I had to get away from the common room, all anyone can talk about is who fed Snape's ass back to him," Draco explained.

I ducked my head.
"I'm sorry-,"
