Just friends

--"Who's this" mom freaked out
-- "Ben, my boyfriend"
-- "Didn't I say , its not the time to date"
-- "Mom, she's a girl" I cried
If ' my whole life was a lie' had a face, mom exactly reacted in the same way.

Later, that day I called Arahi, to ask if I was allowed to text her, and my 'him'

I didn't want to be a desperate at the same time, and I lacked that audacity to text her.

We were in the same whatsapp group,where Arahi was the Admin

Unsocial girls like me lack words, so I used to sent emoji.
When I sent that ',lol' , I got a response from Ben.

She texted- "why do you laugh?like always"

--"Like I don't have words"

--"Can we talk"

--"Let me ping you , personally" I said

A historical mistake I made, that day.

We started a conversation.

The basic one ,hobbies ,habits, friends and relationships.
She had a girlfriend once , and was in touch with her , her ex ,at that point.

We spoke for few hours, and yes that's how we became "just friends"

Then our #justfriends goal started.

I was always fond of her words, personality, boyish attitude.

She was fond of that girly girl kind of people , and I was not at all of that kind.

Never ever I seemed to care about my facial hairs, moustaches, skin complexion.

So, we were way more different than each other but I have had a crush on her .
