Dio's PoV,
I watched as Y/n was fighting the crusaders, his strong body, his h/c hair, his e/c eyes just everything about him is perfect, I looked away for a few minutes and when I looked back I was horrified, he had been beaten to a fucking pulp and the ones who lived had gone, I ran out to the street and picked up his dying body "how the fuck could I let this happen!" I yelled at myself, (I'm gonna make it the classic way on changing 😂) I bit into his neck as blood poured out of it "please~" I begged holding his body close to mine, if only I had that damn stone mask. I held his head into my chest hoping something would happen as I continued to bite his neck "don't fucking die on me!" I cried, why wasn't anything working damn it, I've lost him,
Flashback,
"Hey Y/n~" I said seductively wrapping my arms around his waist from behind pulling him further into my "hello my dear" he said I smiling kissed his neck repeatedly "I'll always protect you. I heard crying coming from my shared bedroom with Y/n so I walked in and saw him crying his beautiful eyes out "hey what's wrong?" I asked kneeling down in front of him taking his hands in mine "I don't feel right, I feel like I'm gonna die one day without your knowledge" he told me, I wiped his tears away and smiled "I'll always protect you love, I promise" I reassured him kissing him softly, he kissed back then we walked out the room.
End of flashback,
I promised you I'd protect you from anything and anyone but I've failed that promise, I'm so so sorry Y/n, I love you more than anything in this world and now that you're gone I'll never be the same.
