"Just Lance crying over his and Matt's relationship." Author said.
"How can you miss someone you've never met..
Cause I need you now but I don't know you yet.."
"But..he does know who he is?" Allura said, confused.
"It's basically that Lance never really knew who Matt was, as in, he didn't know Matt as well as he thought he did." Author explained.
"Oh..okay.."
"Can me and Lance talk?" Matt asked.
"Sure," Author said.
"Lance..I-I'm so sorry..I.. didn't know..I can't even remember you- I-I can't even remember our own daughter-" Matt stuttered out.
"Hey, it's okay. I don't want you to remember...that.." Lance looked away.
"It's not okay! I-I hurt you..I cheated on you..and I-I left you to suffer her death alone!" Matt felt like shit, to put it simply.
"Matt. You don't remember it. It's fine. Let's just forget about this." Lance said numbly, he was done being reminded he wasn't good enough to save his loved one. Tired of being reminded he wasn't good enough for his lover to stay. He was tired.
They re-entered the theater, one tired the other crying slightly.
"Let's carry on."
