Hinata - he is so excited you asked him - like he's at the gym early and everything is already all set up - " are you excited!" - he literally is so bad at teaching tho - "alright y/n so first you go BAM and then BOMB then to get the ball you have to ZAP it" - at the end of the day you didn't understand almost a word he said - but once you learn the basics he want
Kageyama - he is so serious about it - like he wants you to be his whole prodigy that learned from him - hinata tried to join the party but they fought the whole time - you had to calm them both down and decided to ask someone else from the team LMAO - now he's watching suga teach you how to set like 😤😡😔
Daichi - he's totally like the type to be like - "no yeah of course I can teach you volleyball in the gym where we practice volleyball and I'm there because I'm the coach for the volleyball team" - like he is SO excited - he's getting in all close trying to "fix" your receiving position like 😀 baby I'm not even here im a hallucination - Tanaka and noya are watching from the corner giggling and watching
Sugawara - he's literally the right person to ask dating or not - he makes sure you understand everything and know what you are doing - he's so proud of you for every little thing you do right (or close) and his words of encouragement makes your heart pound
Tanaka - he's so excited please - he's moving from blocking to spiking to everything in every 5 minutes - he wants to play with you so bad one day and will take the time and effort to teach you - plus he wants to see you in the uniform 🤪
Asahi - he's so shy about it - he's like trying to get your attention during breaks and he gets extra nervous when the team is watching him - he feels better when he realizes he wants HIM to teach him not anyone else - he talks so sweetly and softly while showing you something - he gives you forehead kisses when you do something right
Nishinoya -" BOOM SNAP ROCK" - he thinks he's best teacher but he's low-key struggling - like he thinks he's super easy to learn from but he's not making any sense - he just so desperately wants to see you In the uniform - so please be patient with him I feel like HE would forget how to do it
Tsukishima - he'll show you a couple of things - but mostly so you can play with him and you both can practice - like HE JUST BARLEY started to like volleyball up until now - he try's his best to not get frustrated and be calm but if u make the same mistake over again on purpose he's going to lose it
Yamaguchi - "uh maybe you should learn from someone else?" - he's so self conscious and doesn't want to look stupid - but he'll show you stuff anyways and end up having so much fun - now it's just a regular thing - your basically on the team on now
Aoba Johsai
Oikawa - do y'all remember that scene from high school musical when Troy was playing basketball with her? - same thing - he's hugging and ticking you when you try to serve he can not take it seriously - unless you specifically tell him you really want to actually learn this is what your getting
Iwaizumi - he's such a good teacher - like you really understand by the end - he's so proud of you too he shows you off to the whole team - "not to brag but look what I taught them" - oikawa is jealous now for no reason
Mad dog - he try's to be soft and gentle but he just can't - he spikes the ball to hard on your blocks but he kisses your hands better if they are red after - he feels bad because in the morning your sore so he give you a massage 🥺
Nekoma high
Kuroo - he's so excited also - he's ready for you to be on the team - like he has your jersey ready - he teaches all the stuff he knows and when you do it well he's literally screaming
Kenma - he's telling you what to do from the bench - "yeah your doing it right" - Kuroo has to make him get up and actually help you - when he does you learn pretty easy and he's really helpful ngl - but he's just already tired from regular practice he makes lev train with you LMAO - he has pictures of you tho so he can look back and smile about how cute you looked
Lev - he barley knows what he's doing - please don't ask him - he'll be like - " and then you move that thingy and jump over where the ball it's" - like do we know what he's talking about
Fukurodani Academy
Bokuto - chaotic - he forgets to play himself then gets self conscious - you have to cheer him up then get ice cream later LMAO - like he can not explain how he does the stuff he does
Akaashi - he's trying not to scream - he thought it was the cutest thing when you asked him personally - but you just wanted to know lol - he sets a time in gym and makes it a little date - he'll even take u to diner too after
Shiratorizawa Academy
Ushijima - he has never been so serious in his life - he's making you stretch, warm up, and run some laps - "well this is what we do in training" - he doesn't understand that you just wanted to learn - but he's trying his best just for you - after you do something well the praise and head pats are 🥺
Tendō - he just wants to have fun - like he'll teach you basics but once you learn he'll never not be playing a practicing a game or warming up with you - he walks up to the coach like - "y/n knows how to play so can they be my partner for warm up?" - your also on the team now
Johzenji High
Terushima - same thing with oikawa - like hell teach you moves that will get you kicked out the game - there's no serious learning just him having the time of his life with YOU - "yes this is a legal move y/n lighten up and pass to me!"
