"So, how's Kai?" Asked Lisa, as she stirred her tea.

The four girls were currently in the castle library, talking amongst each other.

"So far, he's been quite nice." Replied Jennie as she flipped through a book, seeming uninterested.

Lisa just shook her head. "You'll get sick of him sooner or later."

All this talk about her brother made Jisoo frown. Yet, she found no reason to do so.

"How about you Jisoo?" Asked Chaeyoung with curious eyes, as she looked up at the ravenette.

"What do you mean?" Replied Jisoo as she tilted her head.

"Are you going to get married any time soon?"

Jisoo frowned, as she thought for a moment.

Her parents never really talked much about her marriage. Perhaps because they were too occupied with her brothers. Which quite frankly, the girl was fine with.

"Isn't our Jichu going to get with Jinyoung?" Asked Lisa, as she looked at her with a curious smile.

Jennie's head then lift up from her book.

Jisoo's eyes widened, as she shook her head.

"What, no!" She replied with a pout.

"Oh, I kinda shipped it." Spoke Lisa with a slight frown.

"This is why I don't like you coming over." Exclaimed Jisoo as she laid her head on the table.

"Oh, but you love me coming over!" Replied Lisa, as she got out of her chair to hug the older.

"Ah! Get off me." Spoke Jisoo between grunts, as she fought against Lisa's embrace.

Yet, this eventually ended up in defeat, and Lisa got to hug the rabbit to her heart's desire.

"So, do you like raisins?" Asked Chaeyoung.

Jennie just nodded.

The two girls were trying to make conversation with each other, while Lisa and Jisoo went out to talk with their relatives.

Jennie was never bad at conversation, in fact with Jisoo it was more than easy.

Yet this was incredibly awkward.

Jennie sighed, as she looked at anything but Chaeyoung.

She was unsure about what to say.

"So, how's it been at the castle?" Asked the redhead as she once again found eye contact with the brunette.

"It's been going fairly well, Jisoo's been there to help me." Jennie then replied.

Chaeyoung nodded before speaking. "She's very nice, isn't she?"

Jennie just stood silent, as she watched the girl take a sip of tea.

"Her spouse will be very lucky."

Jennie couldn't help but feel bitter, after hearing those few words. What's with all this talk about marriage?

Jisoo awkwardly stood beside Lisa, as the blonde chatted away with family members.

She never quite enjoyed these gatherings. Jisoo didn't even know half the people there. The only thing she only knew was that they were all related one way or another.

Another reason why Jisoo disliked family gatherings was because she was always getting pushed to the side.

Everyone loved her brothers. Who wouldn't? They're all going to be future leaders some day. And what about Jisoo? Oh, she's just the girl who's going to get married off into another family.

The only reason why someone would even talk to her was because of marriage. Everything was about marriage. That was all she was worth.

"Oh, Jisoo! I've been hearing about a certain young man who you've been meeting up with." Then spoke one of her painfully nosy aunts.

Jisoo secretly grit her teeth as she tried keeping her smile. He's gay. That's all she wanted to say.

"I can assure you that there's nothing going on between us." Replied Jisoo as she fought the urge to leave right then and there.

"I can just hear the wedding bells ringing." Continued the old lady as she raised her hand to her chest, while staring off into the distance.

Lisa could tell that Jisoo was getting fed up with their aunt, and tried sending signals toward her to stop. Yet the lady didn't quite get the message.

"You should name your children after your great grandparents and-"

It was then when Jisoo was done with everything her aunt was saying, and ended up storming out of the hall. Saying something about needing the restroom.

Jennie was glad that was over.

Although, it was awkward. It was also nice learning a bit more about the redhead.

As the girl walked through the hallways, intending to get back to her room. She couldn't help but notice a silhouette of a girl in the library.

A lady was sitting in front of a large window, in the very back, looking into the night sky.

Jennie, being the curious person she is, ended up walking over towards the girl.

As the brunette got closer, she then realized that it was none other than Jisoo.

Relieved that it wasn't someone she didn't know, the brunette then happily sat down behind Jisoo, to wrap her arms around.

She could feel the girl stiffen in confusion, before speaking.

"J-Jennie?" Asked the ravenette with hesitance.

The girl just laid her head on Jisoo's shoulder with a nod

Relaxing, Jisoo then looked back up at the night sky.

"Why aren't you with your family?" Asked Jennie, as she looked over towards the sky, Jisoo found so much comfort in.

"Annoying aunts." Replied the ravenette.

Jennie then turned her head to face Jisoo, who was looking at the stars with a bright smile.

Her features were so delicate, so much that they could never be replicated by a mere painting. Why couldn't Jennie ever notice that before?

Or perhaps she did, she just never said anything.

"You have pretty eyes, they're like stars." Spoke the brunette, while gazing at the girl.

Jisoo then stopped at the sudden compliment. Staying quiet for a few seconds, before smiling. "Thank you."

That simple phrase made the brunette feel warm.
