Brianna's POV
I was walking in the halls heading to my hotel room before hearing footsteps behind me. Silently sighing, knowing who it was.
"Lopez" I said with my arms folded as I turned around to face him
"How'd you know it was me?" He asked with a raised brow
"Figured" I answered
Silence roamed around the empty hall as both of us were just staring into space. Hopefully he would say something since I was dying to just collapse in my bed
"Can I ask you something" he said breaking the silence
"Sure" I answered
"Why are you so afraid?" he questioned "Afraid? Me? Of what exactly?" I asked confused
"Falling in love" he simple said
I shut my eyes aggravated as I bit the inside of my cheek "This again?" I asked with a rather irritable tone than a normal tone
"Yes this again" he simply answered.
He looked into my eyes clearly wanting to get an answer out of me and he wouldn't let me go until he got an answer. I've avoided this question so many times and I knew now I would have no choice but to answer
"I'm not afraid. There is no damn fear. I'm gallant. It's just I don't. That's it. I just don't fall in love" I answered with all honesty. I mean that was just my truth
"I don't believe you" he said folding his arms
"Well I don't care. You don't have to" I answered shrugging my shoulders.
"You may not fall in love, but you will surely fall in love with me. You will love me"
"That's funny, because I don't recall me ever saying I love you. Not once in the time when we were together. So I doubt I'll ever say those words" I said as I moved closer to him and continued
"And if you think that you have intimidated me.. you're wrong. I've dealt with way worse. I've dealt with the physical abuse. Don't try to act differently just because you reappeared after eight months of disappearing. I know how you think, I know exactly how to get under your skin, and you know why? Because you've worshipped me in the past and you'll worship me further. Now matter what you say, command me, all you like, You'll still remain my simp. I've seen your soul and I know exactly how to get under your skin. We're clearly opposites because you're foolish and I'm the intelligent one. I'm telling you now, and now only. If I wanted you, you'd me kissing my toes worshipping me"
"So..." I trailed off poking his chest with my index finger
"Go back to you're little blonde she's probably waiting for you."
"What, are you jealous?" he asked causing me to chuckle
"That's almost laughable. I think you know the answer?" I raised my brow at him
"You placed me on a pedestal I never knew I had.. So why'd you think I would be jealous? Alexis? Surely we both know the answer to that"
"I'm gonna get you. One way or another" He said stroking my neck
Causing me chuckle once again
"Brianna I'm going to get you. The easy way or the hard way"
"Goodnight Lopez"
