"You know you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, right?" I ask my guy best friend Jack but got no response
"Jack? Did you hear me? You're the best thing that's ever happened to me"
"Leave me alone"

"Oh okay" I said and got up to leave his apartment  having to make my way to work
Once I get into my car I pick up the phone and call my girl best friend "hey Denise?"
"Yeah Y/N?"
"Can you text Jack and talk bad about me?"
"I don't think I can. You're my best friend"
"Please"
"Sure. What do you want me to say?"
"Something along the lines of 'oh my god Y/N won't leave me alone' I guess"
"Okay.... sent"
"Great now while you guys are trash talking imma talk to you about a dream I had"

"Hey did Jack ever get back?"
"Oh yeah we've been talking for a little bit"
"Okay great! Send it to me"
"I don't think I can"

"Honestly if I got this text I'd sit in the corner and cry"

I walk into the BAU with tears in my eyes which drew  Penelope's attention away from Derek to me
"Oh my oh my, my sweets! Who hurt you?"
"On Penny I'm fine"
"Mamas you are not fine"
"Yeah you have tears in your eyes you're definitely not fine"
"Hey guys- woah Y/N what happened??"
"Okay well-"

Hey hey, this story is based on real life events for me and it happened last Thanksgiving and I had to change the names, to be nice. Denise is my actual best friend who had the heart to do what I asked and everything I made her say is what she actually said and everything "Jack" said is what the guy this is about really said.
