"Miss Reggie, welcome to my humble abode," Ronnie welcomed me and my two siblings into his house, "You too Sir Owen," he gestured as Owen walked through the door, "Oh, hello there Fair Maiden Isabella!"
"Good day, Lord Tabile," Izzy laughed, plucking the cap off of Ronnie's head and put it on hers.
"Stop flirting, you're making me sick," Sal groaned from the couch as we all made our way into the house.
Izzy rolled her eyes as she walked past Sal and into the kitchen, "Ah, Sal. So good to see you," her voice dripped with sarcasm.
"The pleasure is all mine," Sal said with the same tone.
I took a seat next to Sal on the couch and slumped my arm over her shoulder, whispering "Be nice," in her ear. One thing you do not want to see is an Izzy vs Sal showdown.
"To what do I owe the glorious pleasure of hosting the wonderful Reynolds family?" Ronnie smiled at us all as he sat himself in the armchair.
"You live alone. I was bored. You're entertaining," I explained, grabbing the TV remote.
Ronnie laughed, "I'm entertaining or my TV is entertaining?"
"Both."
"She's lying, she wanted to tell you all about her date with Aiden but Izzy and I insisted on coming," Owen grinned at Ronnie, then looked at me as I scowled at him.
"Date?" Sal wiggled her eyebrows, "Why didn't I know about this?"
Izzy rolled her eyes, "You don't need to know everything about her Sal."
I could tell Sal was about to say something but I gave her a warning look.
"Anyway, it wasn't a date. Elliot was there," I said, trying to divert the conversation away from a complete war between the two of them.
Ronnie grinned, "Oh, so you've got both of them now, have you?"
I shook my head, "Oh no, definitely not. Elliot hates me."
"You think everyone hates you, Reg, when everyone really loves you," Ronnie laughed.
"No, this is different. He really does hate me."
"As much as Izzy hates Sal?" Owen added, earning him a slap from Izzy.
I ignored that comment and said, "Anyway, it was just a day out, not a date. What about you two? Find any luck at the party?"
"Oh, Ronnie did. Pretty much all the girls were clinging to him. There was barely any left for me," Sal chuckled, "But he turned them all down. Idiot move if you ask me."
"Nobody asked you-" I threw a pillow at Izzy before she could say another word.
"That's not true. Sal had about twenty girls on her arm," Ronnie rolled his eyes.
"I'm hungry," Owen complained, completely changing the subject.
"There's food in the kitchen," Ronnie pointed to the kitchen, Owen got up and headed for the fridge.
I shouted out to him, "Get me some cheese!"
"Cheese?" Sal raised her eyebrows at me.
Izzy scoffed, "I thought you would know by now about Reggie's love for cheese."
"I know she loves cheese, but I didn't expect her to ask for cheese on its own," Sal explained, rolling her eyes.
"Why not? I thought you would have seen her eat millions of blocks of cheese by now-"
