"IF YOU'RE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT CLAP YOUR HANDS! IF YOU'RE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT CLAP YOU-"

"Shut up before I pick up a rock and smash it against your skull repeatedly," Sal hung her head in her hands, hiding her eyes from Ronnie and Owen doing jazz hands in front of her.

"Let them have their fun," I laughed, braiding Izzy's hair as we sat on a rock further up the beach.

Sal sighed, "I usually would, but I'm seriously scared that one of their jazz hands will slice my head clean off."

"Stop complaining. They're having a good time," Izzy grunted from below me. She had been sending side glares to Sal the whole time we had been here.

I slapped her shoulder, telling her to back off.

Thankfully, she didn't say another word, neither did Sal.

Owen changed the subject, "How's Freya? Did Aiden say anything about her? Is she back yet"

Freya was Aiden's little sister. She and Owen were around the same age and had been best friends like me and Aiden after our moms' deaths. She had always hated it on the small island, so she decided to go to boarding school in France this year instead of staying when her dad finally agreed to let her go.

I shook my head, "No, he didn't mention her. I'm sure she'll be back soon though.

"You know you can't date her, though," Sal informed Owen, "That would be like, incest or something. You can't go out with her if Reg and Aiden are together."

I rolled my eyes, "I'm not dating Aiden, Owen, do what you want."

"You're not dating him, but you want to. Besides, I don't like Freya like that. Just because we're friends doesn't mean I want to get with her," Owen explained.

I shot him a glare, "Ew. You're too young. You're not getting with anyone. Innocent dates are fine. Anything more than a peck on the cheek, absolutely not."

"Too late for that," Owen had an evil smile on his face. Izzy and I exchanged a look of pure rage.

She started, "Who was it? That Tara girl? I swear I will beat the shit out of her-"

She was interrupted by Owen laughing, along with Ronnie, "I'm joking. I'm joking!"

Ronnie high five him whilst I just glared at both of them, "I swear, I'm forbidding the both of you from hanging out ever again. You're such a bad influence."

"Try and stop us. We're bonded for life. You can't keep us apart, even if you wanted to," Ronnie wrapped his arm around Owen like a big brother and scruffed his hair.

I huffed.

"I think I'm gonna walk around for a little bit. Sand is getting in all my clothes from sitting o the floor. I'll be back soon," Izzy said while she got up, whipping sand off her legs.

Ronnie got up as well, "I'll go with you. It's getting dark, you shouldn't walk on your own."

Izzy had gone a pinkish-red color

"Ooooooo," Owen cooed as they walked away from us.

"Fuck off!" Izzy shouted out, putting her middle finger out behind her.

I laughed, watching the two of them walk off together, laughing every now and then. I wondered how long it would be until they were together. I could tell they both liked each other.

"Is seeing them making you miss your man, Reg?" Sal teased, smirking.

I flicked sand at her, "Shut up! When you get a girlfriend, you're so dead. The teasing will be never-ending!"
