Let's screw with Chloe, Marinette wrote on the napkin she discreetly passed off to Damian.

I'm always up for messing with her majesty. What's your plan? Damian slipped into her purse.

You know, how we're pretending we're not together so she won't say I told you so, after our fake dating stint?

Yeah?

She is getting desperate, and her hints are losing their subtlety. If we admit, she gets to say I told you so, but we have to come clean, it's been about two weeks.

Agreed. I take it you have a plan, love?

Yup. I've been playing innocent. All you have to do is buy me a bag of Hershey kisses "as thanks for playing along". Don't give it to me in front of Chloe, maybe in front of Jon.

Deal, Love, use the mini cam to tape her reaction please.

Pleasure doing business with you Dami.

The next day, as promised, Damian Wayne and Jon Kent approached one Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

Damian reluctantly handed over a bag of Hershey Kisses, "Thank you for playing along Dupain-Cheng."

"You're welcome, thank you for the chocolate kisses."

Phase 1, Complete. Marinette smirked.

<Time Skip to after school, FaceTiming Chloe>

"Chloe!" Marinette squealed happily. After discreetly turning on the mini cam, currently disguised as a hair clip.

"Marinette!" Cloe squealed back. Marinette started blushing, thankful her acting skills had been getting better. "Damian gave me so many kisses today." She bounced happily in the seat.

"Damian What?!?" Chloe said outraged that she missed it.

"Yeah, he gave me a whole bag of them." Marinette said grinning, pulling said bag of Hershey Kisses from her purse.

Emotions flashed across Chloe's face, relief, annoyance, happiness, sadness, confusion.

"Isn't he just the best boyfriend?" Marinette said sweetly, waiting for it to register.

After several more emotions, Chloe's face was blank. "And how long has he been your boyfriend?" She asked scarily calm.

"Uhmmm, two weeks." Marinette mumbled.

"I can't hear you." Chloe crowed.

"Two weeks." Marinette said. Hmmm, were her shoes always such a fascinating shade of blue?

"Hah. Told you so!" Chloe crowed. "Now I gotta tell Jon, he owes me a hundred bucks."

"Wait, you bet on us?" Marinette asked bemused.

"Duh, what type of friend would I be if I didn't." Chloe flipped her hair.

Marinette rolled her eyes hanging up, then sent the video to Damian. 'Operation Mess W/ Chloe, While Admitting They Were Dating is Complete.'  Though it does need a better name.
