this trope is more seen in fanfiction section of wattpad. Since I myself is a stan of boybands (in the kpop genre)
But I literally avoid any books that have anything to do with 'a new member' to the group. I literally can never get into those books. i really don't like them and I don't think I will ever read those books. Like this group has been established for x amount of years and all of sudden they get a new member. And they develop a crush on him/her. Like nope, nada, it will never touch my library.
How do you all feel about that trope?
