They were in the middle of the match. Itachiyama was currently in the lead with one set. The second set looks like it was about to go to them too seeing that they were at set point, but that quickly transitioned into a duce as Aran slammed the ball down.

Both teams were exhausted. The first set went on for way too long for their personal preferences, everyone felt like they were going to collapse at any second. Akagi noticed how good Komori had gotten since their last match. That was expected seeing as he was the #1 libero according to the Japan magazine, but he was a lot better than he would've thought from first glance since not much changed about him physically.

He was fast. He could almost touch spikes that were on the other side of the court. Usually he didn't but he was always super close.

Then there was Itachiyama's ace, and Atsumu's man, Sakusa. He was super good seeing as he was the #1 ace in the volleyball scene. Suna was always on his tail, running along with him to block his spikes. Usually, Sakusa still managed to get past him. But sometimes he got a one touch or shut him out completely. When he was shut out, his cousin Komori was there to get it back up.

It was currently Atsumu's serve, he did get some service aces against the others but there were times where he either hit it out of bounds, or it was picked up.

Atsumu took 4 steps back from the line. Akagi noticed that Itachiyama took a few steps forward. getting ready for a jump float. It wasn't surprising that they knew Atsumu's form of measurement. They've gone against each other multiple times in the past.

Atsumu threw up the ball and served it, aiming for Komori. He overhand received it, but it was aimed incorrectly seeing as the ball flew into Inarkizaki's side of the court. Akagi dived to revive it. When he sat up and looked, he made direct eye contact with Komori for the second time today.

"Nice receive" the younger boy mouthed before looking back up to see where the ball was.

Akagi got up from the ground to see Osamu getting his spike shut out. Both him and Ginjima went to get the ball at the same time, but neither of them made it. This gave Itachiyama set point again. That raised the already existing tension between the two teams.

It was almost 10pm by the time the game was over. Itachiyama won the third set, after a deuce that went into the 30's. Both of the teams were collapsed on the floor, the sound of their hard breathing filling the gym.

Akagi was laying on the floor face down when he heard someone walk over. He looked over to see Komori offering a hand to him.

"You good?" He asked, with a slight head tilt and a smile.

"Yeah I'm fine." Akagi breathed out as he took the other's hand, getting pulled up from the ground. He brushed off his uniform and looked up at Komori. "Thanks."

"No problem! I wanted to talk to you about something anyway."

"About?"

"We're not going back to Tokyo tonight since we would get home super late. My coach told me to ask you if you guys were up for getting food with us."

For some strange reason, the thought of getting food with Komori, even if it was with the rest of the team, it made his heart race. "Yeah, I'm down. Do you know where we're going?"

"They said that we would decide on the bus." Komori took a breath. "I wanted to know if you would want to sit with me."

Agaki just nodded with a smile. He opened his mouth to reply, but their coaches interrupted him before he could get a word out. They practically just repeated what Komori had said to him just a few seconds earlier. Both teams cheered as they were loaded into their busses. They had to go in pairs. Akagi and Komori agreed to stick with each other for the rest of the night since they had already agreed to hang out on the bus. They sat next to each other in silence as the buses started to pull out of the parking lot.
