These may seem encouraging and like your supporting the author but your actually discouraging them from writing and creating possible burn out. People quit fan fiction because of these reasons.
Every time I update. Every single time and almost every other chapter there will be one comment asking for an update. It's been a little over a week. A WEEK and someones asking when I'm going to update. On average I write about 10-15 pages per chapter and I have about seven-nine stories I'm working on.
I do this in my free time, am not paid, and am one of the only writers for Trollhunters X Reader that regularly updates. At least that I've seen (No offense to any other Trollhunters X Reader Fanfic Writers out there)
Plus I personally think for my age I do a good job inserting a person into the universe and putting in love and detail, adding subtle and not so subtle hints to the story. I work hard on it and for the last month I've been updating at least once a week. And I've passed 100 pages in a few short months.
Also on average a maybe 20-100 people read each chapter and I get a fraction of comments.
Guys please be kind and patient. Fan fic writing is hard. And please send more comments and crituqe and share this story to spread it. I want to keep writing. I'm not really angry just need to air my grievances and I'm sorry if I come off as harsh. You're all amazing and thankyou for supporting me and this story. 💕
