{A Date With Childe}

             Aether and Paimon were taking a stroll in Liyue Harbor, when they encountered Zhongli. Zhongli looked bothered by something, the two approached Zhongli.

'Hey Zhongli! What's wrong? You look rather bothered today..' Paimon said.

'Oh! Well.... I think I have an illness..' Zhongli replied, looking slightly worried.

'Mind telling us why you think so? You look pretty fine to us..' Aether asked.

'Hmm... Whenever I'm around Childe, I feel something weird in my stomach, and whenever he smiled at me, I feel my face heating up and my heart beat accelerates...' Zhongli said.

'Sounds like you're just in love~' Paimon teased.

'Yes, the things you just said sounds like traces of a crush.' Aether added.

'Is that so?' Zhongli asked, and receiving agreement by the two.

'How will I approach him with my feelings?' Zhongli said,

'One of the ways to do is to ask him on a date!' Paimon suggested.

'That isn't a bad idea, we could try that! Are you in, Zhongli?' Aether asked.

'Um.. yes..' Zhongli replied.

'So, the first thing to do in a date is.. of course, ask him out!' Paimon said,

'What if he rejectes me?' Zhongli said, concern was heard in his voice.

'Uhhhhhhhhh.... that... I do not know of...' Paimon said awkwardly, Aether facepalmed at what Paimon just said.

'You don't need to be that negative, just think positively! You guys are hanging out recently, why would he reject to you like this?' Aether encouraged Zhongli.

'You are indeed correct that we have been spending time together.... Very well, I shall give this a try.' Zhongli said.

'But there is a problem... where is that guy?' Paimon asked.

'That's an easy solution, we can ask the northland bank secretary.' Aether answered.

~Inside the Northland Bank~

'Childe is currently at the docks, he said he had to take something off his mind.' The northland bank secretary said.

'Hmm... I wonder what Childe has on his mind...' Paimon wondered.

'Back to the topic, let's head to the docks.' Aether said.

'Okay, we'll be hiding behind, just remember, have confidence and just do it!' Paimon whispered rather loudly, but not loud enough for Childe to hear and notice them.

Zhongli slowly approached Childe, then said his name,

'Childe?'

No response

'Childe?' Zhongli said, slightly louder,

'Ah! Oh Zhongli, it's just you, what's up?' Childe smiled,

'...Childe, I want to asked if you wanted to go have dinner at Liuli Pavilion tonight?' Zhongli asked,

'As in, like a date of sorts?' Childe was curious to know,

'Yes- I mean, I suppose you could call it that..' Zhongli replied,

'Well, I'll gladly come with you! But the question is, am I supposed to pay? Since you are the one asking me out, you're supposed to be the one paying right..?' Childe said,

'Shoot! I forgot, Zhongli doesn't have any Mora because he doesn't have a private fund!' Paimon and Aether thought the exact same thing while watching the two, Zhongli himself was already flushed with red, blushing hard,

'Haha! I'm just joking, I don't mind paying, as long as it's you!' Childe winked, while Zhongli blushes, 'T-Thank you..' Zhongli said, obviously still flustered and embarrassed.

Outside Liuli Pavilion..

'It's time Zhongli, Childe is already inside, now get in there and kiss already!' Paimon exclaimed.

'Jeez, don't have to be so obnoxious..' Aether complained,

'NOW WHO ARE YOU CALLING OBNOXIOUS?!' Paimon said angrily,

Zhongli chuckled slightly, 'I'll be going in now, have fun arguing you two.'

Inside Liuli Pavilion

'Oh! Zhongli you're here! Take a seat!' Childe welcomed in Zhongli, Zhongli took a seat beside of Childe, instead of usually taking a seat on the opposite side of Childe, the two got a little nervous and didn't actually talk much while eating, Childe was really struggling with the chopsticks he was using.

'Hehe, still struggling with chopsticks I see?' Zhongli giggled,

'Yeah, they are pretty hard to use, especially when you are not used to Liyue culture..' Childe said, then suddenly, Zhongli took some fish with his chopsticks and held it up to Childe's mouth.

'Here, eat this.' Zhongli smiled at Childe, Childe blushed as he ate the fish from Zhongli's chopsticks,

After finishing their meal, Childe laid back on his chair,

'You know... out of all the times we hung out, I think this is the best one so far..' Childe smiled,

'And why is that?' Zhongli asked,

'Because of this.' Childe said,

'Because of wha-' Zhongli got cut off by a kiss from Childe, Childe gently kissed Zhongli, leaving Zhongli speechless,

'..Speechless now? Don't you have anything to say?' Childe asked,

'Hmm..' Zhongli blushed,

'Hehe, I liked you since I first saw you, I knew you were the one for me' Childe admitted his feelings to Zhongli,

'...I.. I like you to Childe..' Zhongli smiled,

They both shared another kiss

Meanwhile, Aether and Paimon were secretly eavesdropping behind the wall, feeling happy for the two.
