Chapter 3

It had been a month since I was shot. I was back on full duty finally. I hated desk duty but I do have a car.
"Kevin," I said
He walked over to me
"Are back on full duty?" He asked
"As of yesterday," I said
"Does Jay know?" He asked
"Nope," I said
"Oh damn Alex he going to be so confused when we get called out," he said
"Oh yes," I said
Adam came up behind us and scared us I reached for my gun and turned around
"Adam never sneak up on an Army Ranger unless you have death wish," I said
"Sorry Alexis," Adam said
"Please call Alex?" I asked
"Okay Alex so you still on desk duty?" He asked
"Not telling," I said
We walked up the stairs
"Kevin no," I said
"Alex really," he said
"No I not doing it," I said
"Alex I know your brother," he said
"And I kill you and they won't find your body," I said
"Alex who are we killing?" Jay asked
"Kevin if doesn't stop," I said
"Alex you can't Kevin," Jay said
"But," I said
"No," Jay said
"Aw," Kevin said
"Kevin," I said
"What that was cute," Kevin said
"Kevin no," Jay said
I walked over to my desk and got a text from Kevin
Kev- Come on just tell him
Alex- No not yet
Kev- you just like scaring him
Alex-Yes
Kev- You two better get married
Alex- Waoh Kev to fast
Kev- What
I put my phone in my pocket and looked at Kevin and shook my head
"What is happening?" Jay asked
"She mad at me," Kevin said
"Why?" He asked
"Jay can I talk to?" I asked
Hostely I wanted to tell him that I was back on full duty
"Oh someone in trouble," Adam said
We walked to the locker
"What?" Jay asked
"Hm well," I said
"Alexis if you are pregnant,"
"Jay no im not," I said
"Then are we?" He asked
"Jay no never," I said
"Then what?" He asked
"Im back on full duty," I said
"Wait really Will cleared you im not going to get yelled at by your brother or mine?" He asked
I walked closer to him
"No," I whispered in his ear
"You know we should probably go  back before Kevin think we're having sex," he said
"Jay," I said punching him in the arm
He kissed me we walked back to the bullpen. It was a slow day literally just paperwork and catching up on cases
"Today was event full," I said
"Alex no," Kevin said
"What it was," I said
Jay came and picked me up and throw me over his shoulder and ran down the stairs once we're outside he put me I ran back inside and grabbed my stuff and ran back out
"Really," Jay said
"What?" I asked
"You," he said
"Yeah," I said
He took my bag from me and grabbed my hand
"So brought you to work," He asked
"Kevin," I said
"Oh," he said
We walked to his truck and got in he leaned over the center and kissed me
"You have been waiting to do that all day haven't you?" I asked
"Yep, he said
He drove us to his apartment and went in side
"Hey so I was thinking may be we move in together," Jay said
"Yeah that mean bigger apartment," I said
"Yeah and my lease is almost so what about a house something we can make our maybe have dog and we wouldn't have to move when we want kids," Jay said
"You want kids," I said
"Yeah and with you," he said
"Jay," I said
"What," he said
I started to cry
"Alex what's wrong?" He asked
"I don't know if I can have kids Jay," I said
"Alex hey have you been told you can't?" He asked
"No but infertility runs in my family I mean me and Matt are miracles our mom was told she couldn't have kids," I said
"Alex have you been to see a doctor about it?" He asked
"No I have tried but I can't and want to crush your dreams of having kids," I said
"Alex I want to be with forever and if mean adopting to have kid or seraget. I want to go this journey with you Lexi," he said hugging me
"Really," I said
"Yes lexi," he said
"So now what?" I asked
"We find out," he said
"We have this Friday off," I said
"So we see Alex before we just decide you can't get pregnant," he said
I hugged him and started crying. Over next few day I basically freaking out a little bit okay a lot
"Alex babe you need stay claim okay," Jay said
"But what if I can't," I said
"Alex we don't know that yet, and I'm still going to love you no matter what happens tomorrow morning," he said
"Babe what if I can't," I said
"Hey I believe you can," he said
"Jay," I said
We heard the locker room door open Kevin came in
"Hey Alex you okay?" He asked
"Just a panic attack," Jay said
I was still shaking from having a panic attack I mean I ran out of bullpen because of it.
"Why?" Kevin asked
"Something happening tomorrow morning," I said
"Can I ask what? It okay if its between you Jay I just want to make sure you're okay Alex," Kevin said
"Yeah it is between me and Jay," I said
"Cool," Kevin said
After work we went back to Jay's place
"Jay I can't do it," I said
"Alexis you what to know right?" He asked
"Yes," I said
It was the next we went to the doctor and we wait for my apotment  and then relast
"Jay im so nervous," I said
"Hey it's okay," he said kissing my head
The doctor came back in
"So you can have kids," he said
I started crying
"Jay," I said
"Hey what did I say," he said
We soon left the hospital
"Jay," I said
"Alex," he said
"We can have kids," I said
"Yeah," he said
"I don't know how I feel," I said
