Chapter 14: Fucked up mates

I'm a coward. I couldn't say anything to him. I couldn't stand seeing him in that hospital bed, just laying there, pain evident on his pale face shining right in his eyes. My mood had dimmed severely cause' I just couldn't stand knowing I couldn't be of any help. He looked so helpless, vulnerable. On top of that, I find out he's fucking anorexic. Damn it! I'm going for run, I need to clear my head.
Silence. That's all I hear. Currently I was sitting in my wolf form in a large clearing in the center of the woods- which also happens to be my packs territory. It was way too silent for my own good. Don't get me wrong I'm all for silence, it's just I don't want these thoughts swarming in my mind but I needed to think. I changed back into my human form because I heard low budding, soft, but frequent footsteps approaching. I guess someone was going for a jog. Who would jog this deep in the woods at this time? I turn to see someone I really did not want to see there wide eyed at my newly found transformation.
