"i just wish i could see you" katara said frowning.

"you can see me right now" aang answered smirking.

"ugh you know what i mean" katara answered annoyed.

"i know" aang stated. 

aang smiled softly looking at his girlfriend of 2 years.

"one day kat" he answered.

"i just hope that one day comes soon and when it does i'm gonna never let go of you"

aang smiled. "never?" he questioned

"never sweetie" she answered.

"god i love you" he said, beaming.

she giggled.

(two month before)

katara's cousin, yue, was sleeping over. they were formerly introduced to each other by katara. when katara had went to the bathroom, leaving the two alone, aang explained his plan to meet katara. they exchanged numbers and had made a plan. aang was flying in tomorrow. yue was scheduled to take katara to the airport, without letting her figure it out. he could barely contain himself.he was meeting the love of his life tomorrow. he lived in flordia, while she lived in Canada. he had dreamed of meeting her, and had been saving up for almost a year and a half now.

"aang" katara said, bring him back to reality.

"sorry kat, what were you saying?"

katara giggled, "i can't face time tomorrow. yue is dragging me to airport" she rolled hell her eyes.

aang smiled. but katara just frowned.

"why are you smiling" katara asked with a pout.

"no reason" he winked.

katara attempted to wink, but failed.

aang just burst out into laughter, and smiled at her.

"oh my god, you are so adorable" aang answered

katara blushed and smiled at him.

"katara! dinner" sokka yelled from the distance.

"i'm sorry, i have to go, bye aang, love you"

aang frowned. "bye katara, love you too"

they both pressed their lips to the camera.

"one day, i'll do that for real" aang said. "see you tomorrow"

"aang, i said i couldn't-"

*bubba🥰💕 hung up*

katara groaned. was he even listening to her? she walked downstairs for dinner.

the next day.

not much happened. yue and katara were going to the airport at 3 to get there for 5. katara didn't even know who they were picking up. but yue wanted company or something so she tagged along.

"so how's aang?" yue asked trying to spark a conversation.

they talked about aang, family related stuff, and whatever came up until they ended up jamming to songs on the radio.
