Rodrick POV
I opened my eyes, taking in my surroundings. I was still in my living room, but around me was a pool of blood; my own, I assume. My head felt incredibly fuzzy, and my whole body was in pain. Memories from earlier came flashing into my mind, clouding it with fear and panic. Regardless of the pain I was in, all I could think about was one thing: y/n.
I remember hearing her screams and cries for help before I passed out, and I was hoping she was still upstairs. I stood up, regardless of how much pain was shooting through me. I made my way to the staircase, making sure Charlie is nowhere to be seen. I was sure he had already left me and y/n to die, but I had to be careful just in case.
I slowly went up the stairs, my legs aching greatly. I began opening all the doors, hoping she would be behind one of them, yet she was no where to be seen. My heart beat quickened, and my panic truly set in. Where could y/n have gone? Is she dead? Is she alive? Did she escape? Did she leave me here? Did Charlie take her? The more I pondered on the situation, the more reality set in. Charlie would never kill y/n; he did so much to get her back that he wouldn't risk losing her in any way. It was either they left here together by choice or by force. Based on the circumstances, it was quite obvious which it was, but how could I find her? How could I get y/n back?
I went back downstairs, seeing the mess that was on the floor. There was blood everywhere, shards of glass scattered around, and multiple windows shattered. I tried to clean up as much as I could in order to not freak my mom out, but I knew I couldn't stay for long. I had to find y/n, whatever it takes.
I decided to go out and try to find her. I went outside, not bothering to lock the door behind me. I got into my van, almost instantaneously starting it. I began to drive off, only myself, my phone, and my wallet with me. I made my way down my street, turning the corner at the end of the block. Without hesitation, I began my journey to the main highway. I had absolutely no idea where I was going, but it was important to me that I went somewhere.
I continued driving, quickly running out of gas. Who knew driving for four hours could cause you to run out of gas so quickly? I pulled into a gas station off the road, deciding that I should pick up some snacks from the small convenience store for my long ride.
I got out of my van, putting the gas hose into the side of my van. I waited for the tank to fill and put my card into the machine (is it obvious that i've never driven a car let alone pumped gas in one aHA). I parked the van in one of the free spots just outside the small store. I walked in, grabbing a few things. I grabbed a few granola bars, some monster, and some cashews. I also bought a few items to make sandwiches. I was hoping this could keep me full for a few days, and I made my way to the cash registers. I quickly paid for my things, eager to get back to searching for y/n.
I left the place, getting back in my van. I put my shopping bags in the seat next to me, paying no mind to anything but my motives. I'll drive anywhere, use all my gas, all my money, all my time, all my life, to find my love.
I suddenly felt something pushing on the back of my head. I turned around, seeing two people behind me, holding large bags of stuff.
"Drive," the shorter of the two said. I couldn't move out of shock, not knowing what to d0.
    "He said to fucking drive."
