A/N: Fun Fact: River Monster was the first chapter that came to my head which led to me creating a full various story like this
Y/N's POV:
I was an average everyday teen, II
never really went to school due to my
parents wanting me to work around
the farm thus, meaning I didn't have
many friends
One morning, I decided to go finishing
by the river near our house, I bring a
bucket filled with fish for bait
"I wonder if I catch a big one today" I said to myself, I cast my line in to the water with a fish already hooked on it as bait and patiently waited 'Mom and Dad would never let me have a dog, maybe a pet fish will do'
I felt a quick bite on the line and wasted no time in trying to reel it in, but whatever it was, it sure was putting up a hell of a fight "Woah, it's a big one!" I yelled in enthusiasm, a sudden long blue tail slapped the surface of the water as the catch thrashed around 'What is that?, a gator?...no the end of the tail is finned as well' The line suddenly snapped and I fell back, I quickly got back up but, it was too late, whatever it was it gone now
"Darn it!" I yelled in frustration "Y/N!!!" My father called from inside of
inside the house, without no second thoughts, I hurried back inside, leaving my bait and broken rod. Once I entered the house, I saw my father in the living, rocking back and forth in his rocking chair "Yes?" "Y/N, how many times have I told you not to use the fish meant for dinner as bait!?" He yelled angrily
"Sorry Dad but, do you any fish or animal that has a long spiked blue tail around here?" I asked, my father
calmed down just a little as he began to think "None that I know about, why?" He asked "I was fishing and
whatever it was broke my rod, and took the baited fish" I replied "If you're trying to catch a predator the best time is at night" My Dad soon went on with his business "Great idea" I said
"Oh, and bring back those fish" He
said, I ran outside to the spot where I
was fishing at but, the bucket of fish
was completely gone. 'I am in so much trouble...' "Y/N!" My mother called 'Just my luck...'
Timeskip
Y/N's POV:
After a whole day of fishing with my
father to make up for the fish that I lost, I was extremely tired. 'Seventy fish should be enough to last for the next few days...'
I looked out of my window and noticed that dusk had already fallen, my father's advice was ringing in my head concerning to catch what kind of creature that I encountered this morning 'Guess I should lay out the trap'

Y/N accidently hammering his thumb and crying
Y/N's POV:
"Alright, I think that should do it" It
was already night by now, I placed
the bucket of small salmon near me,
I hooked one on the new fishing rod
my Dad gave me and casts the line inn
to the water again.
"Let's try again" I patiently waited for
whatever broke my line this morning,
a slight tug on my line caught my
attention but instead of reeling it in,
I tried to bring it to the surface of the
water. I could feel it coming up and
could see the same blue tail thanks to
the moonlight, I gave one more strong
tug upwards and the catch shot out of
the water or rather the girl
Her clean smooth gray skin, her red
eyes, her blue tail that complimented
her blue hair and spines, and her
black markings were all visible in the
moonlight including her naked body.
I dropped my rod in disbelief before I
came back to my senses, I caught the
mysterious girl in my arms and the
sense of awkwardness was deep
"Umm, hello?" The girl soon opened
her mouth to reveal a set razor sharp
teeth and attempted to bite me while
squirming around and striking out
with her sharp nails, I quickly put
her down, almost dropping her as to
not get bitten. She soon jumped back in to the river and swam back out, but I could still see her red, gleaming eyes looking at me from the other side of the river
"Hey, are you hungry?, I've got some
more fish" I said in a calm voice as to
not scare her away, I showed her the
bucket, and pulled a salmon out for
her. The mysterious fish girl's red eyes lit up even in the darkness, however, she plummeted back under the surface of water
"I guess that she wasn't hungry" I said to myself, however, I was soon proven wrong as the girl soon shot up from the river bank just a few inches away from me which caught me off guard 'A fast swimmer too'
"Can you talk?" I asked her but, her
attention was hooked on the dead
fish that I was holding, she soon lunged at the fish, and snatched it from my hand before she swallowed the fish whole. Luckily, I had all of my fingers intact and unharmed, so, I slowly moved my right hand towards her, this caused the mysterious fish girl to bare her teeth at me. I used my left hand to hold another salmon in front of her face to drive her attention away from my slow-moving hand
The fish girl seemed to be in some sort of trance as she stared at the food in front of her face, completely unaware of my right hand that was growing closer to her head, after a couple of tense seconds, I used my right hand to pet her on the head softly, snapping her out of her food trance as she was slightly startled "It's alright" I said with in a calm voice again as to not frighten her, I slowly retreated my hand back, and let the girl take the fish in her mouth before she immediately swallowed it whole
After a while of feeding her I decided
to call her Mako figuring that she
didn't have a name, I suddenly came to realize that there was no more salmon in the bucket for me to her
"Sorry but, I'm all out" I apologized, but Mako still looked to be starving, judging by how she leaned in closer to me with her mouth open, revealing her sharp, shark-like teeth
'I could get more fish from the fridge, but my Mom and Dad may get mad at me' I looked back to Mako, only to notice her looking at me with begging
puppy dog eyes "Not the puppy eyes..." I said to myself, after a few seconds of Mako begging for more food, I found myself going back inside my parent's house to get more fish for Mako
'Mom and Dad must be asleep, that's good' I slowly opened the fridge to see the untouched fish for tommorow's lunch, I started to prepare more fish for Mako, until a sudden tap on my shoulder caused me drop a plate on the floor, shattering it completely. I quickly turned around to see that it was Mako, Mako who actually was in parent's house "What are you doing?" I whispered
"Y/N!!, why are you in kitchen at this
time!?, get to bed now!!!" My father
yelled from the bedroom "Yes, Sir" I said, at this point there was no way of sneaking Mako out of the house now with my parents awake now, so, I had no choice but to put her in my room, until morning when my parents won't see her. I grabbed a plate of fish, and used it to lure Mako in to my room.
Once Mako was completely inside of my room, I quickly shut the door behind me, and left Mako to her feeding frenzy. While she was eating, I went to the bathroom in my bedroom, and turned the bathtub faucet on. Once the bathroom was filled with warm water, I called Mako over to look at it "You can stay here tonight, but don't make anymore trips to the fridge, okay?" I asked
Mako suddenly hugged me tightly, not only that, but she also began nibbling on my shoulder 'I guess this is her way of saying thanks' I soon hugged her back "You're welcome, Mako, and by the way, my name is Y/N" I said "Y...Y/N" Mako surprisingly said which shocked me a little before I smiled at her
