Y/N's POV:
It's been weeks since I met Mako and
ever since then she's been coming
around my house more often, usually for food or to play her little games with me, but due to the harsh, cold weather known as winter, I haven't seen Mako around as often.
I decorated to head out of the front door to go outside, until my father yelled "Y/N!, if you're going out wear a coat, it's cold out!" He yelled "Okay"I said getting my coat off the coat rack and putting it on before heading outside
Everything was covered in snow and
the river was frozen over, I went
down by the water's edge and could
see the fishes swimming underneath
of the ice 'Bur, it's cold out here...' I
heard a sudden tapping from below
and looked to see Mako swimming
underneath of the ice
"Are you alright down there?" I asked
but Mako swam down and was gone
"I hope the cold isn't-" Mako suddenly
broke through the ice and was now in
the air, I caught her in my arms but
I could feel her extremely cold body
shivering 'She's shivering, and it's only the first month of winter, she won't survive out here...' I put her down, and took off my coat to put it on Mako instead, I picked Mako up in my arms, and brought her close by my house but left her outside with my coat just for a few seconds for me to talk to my parents
"Mom?, Dad?" I called, the both of them came downstairs, but my Dad looked to be already angry "Boy!, didn't I tell you to put a coat?!" My father yelled angrily "Yeah, I did but I was wondering if I could have a friend stay over for awhile" I explained "Girl or Boy?" My
mother asked "...Girl" I replied, my mother was very suspicious about me being around girls, but
my father didn't mind as much
"What's her name?" Mom asked with a scary look "Mako, she's freezing outside right now, but I warn you she's not like a normal girl" I said "Let me see her, tell her to come in" My mother said in a serious tone but then a loud sudden THUD from outside caught my attention, I quickly ran back outside to see Mako unconscious on my back porch, I quickly picked her up bridal style, and
brought her inside which scared the
living daylights out of my parents
Father's POV:
Our son Y/N brought in some sort of
creature with blue spines and tail, it's skin was grey, and the creature looked to be undoubtedly female "Y/N!, what is that!?" My wife asked "It's Mako, I said she wasn't like a normal girl" Y/N replied, I went over to get a better look at the creature to see that it was unconscious "She may have gone in to a hibernation state" I said "Like for months?" Y/N asked "No, warm her up and maybe she'll come to" I said before looking him in the eye
"Y/N?, where did you find her?" I asked "Remember that animal I mentioned a few weeks ago?, turns out it wasn't an animal" Y/N said and I could tell that he was telling the truth
"Which means should you let her out of your sights...not even to use the bathroom..." I said "What?!!" Y/N shouted which was funny "Just kidding, but seriously don't let her out of your sight" I said "Phew" Y/N said
Timeskip
Y/N's POV:
I ran warm water in the bathroom tub
and layed Mako in it, just enough to
keep her head above water just in case
A while passed and Mako finally
opened her eyes and I heard her
stomach growl "You really like to eat
don't you?" I asked, she didn't know
to many words though the only words she knew were my name and the name I had given her, Mako soon stood up and ran around the place like a child
"Hey, calm down" I said calmly, I didn't bother yelling because Mako
didn't like loud, sudden sounds it
drives her mad, I chased after her, but I found that Mako had stop at the descending stairs leading in to the living room where my parents
were. I looked and could see Mako in
a state of unease as she looked at the
stairs "That's right, you're okay with
going upstairs but not down" I said,
I picked her up bridal style which
freaked her out, causing her to bite
down on my shoulder
