Her last few days in La Push felt incredibly short and she wanted to cry because she didn't know if she'd be coming back again.

Her Uncle told her that he'd like her to come back for the Christmas holidays and she just had to ask her Uncle Ted and Aunt Andromeda if she could.

Harry Clearwater didn't understand the concept of Dumbledore having the last say . Nobody in La Push did . Not even Sam Uley and her cousin Emily who'd promised to be there when the moment of departure was at hand .

Athena still didn't know who would be picking her up . She hoped that it wouldn't be Mr Weasley because he'd just embarrass himself with all the questions about cars and batteries and toasters and everything related to Muggles.

She sorely hoped that it won't be Professor Snape either . She didn't have time for that greasy git's snide remarks .

She also didn't want it to be Alastor Moody with his peg leg and magical glass eye . He's too scary .

Hopefully it's not Hagrid either .

Maybe it'll be someone fun like the Weasley twins and Tonks .

Or someone like Kingsley Shacklebolt.
Strong and calm .

Or maybe it'll be Dumbledore himself to chastise her about her disobedience. But she was sure he wouldn't .

It was her last day today and tomorrow whoever was to collect her would come and she would have to say goodbye .

She sat quietly between Seth and her Uncle Harry on the couch watching some stupid program on the telly her thoughts running a marathon through her mind .

She didn't want to go . She wanted to stay in La Push .

She wanted to hang out with Jacob and Quil and Embry and Seth . She wanted to run on the beach and visit the tidal pools .

She wanted to visit her cousin Emily and Sam and Jared and Paul .

Hell , she'd even make small talk with Leah if it meant that she could stay .

But she wouldn't be permitted to stay because her life was back in the UK where Hogwarts was and all her friends and her father's family.

And the danger of Voldemort getting to her and Harry Potter .

She wouldn't want to put her family in La Push in danger just because she wanted to stay .

Her things were already packed in her suitcase again as well as clothes and things Emily and other family members had given her .

Seth had given her a dreamcatcher . One of those without any magic in them .

Real magical ones did chase away bad dreams . She'd taken it with gratitude in her heart and had promised her to get it  enchanted for herself at that shop in Diagon Alley where her Aunt had gotten her one dress enchanted in her third year at Hogwarts .

Emily had given her real Muggle clothes that used to belong to Emily's sister Mechelle  when she was smaller in size . Mechelle had moved away to the Makah Reservation again with Lyanna their other sister .

Athena had met the two girls . Mechelle and Lyanna both were beautiful girls with their darker russet skin and dark eyes and shiny long hair  .  Just like Emily .

Quil had given her a small book of legends and a weaved tribal bracelet . It was beautiful and she really liked the book . She was sure Hermione would like to read it too even though Quil had asked that she didn't let anyone of her friends read it because Quileute legends were sacred to the tribe .
