First Day cont.

Y/n's POV:

Hazel and I pull up to the school. I park in the front where no one parks because they know it's my spot. Oh yeah, I'm kind of popular I guess you could say but only with the girls because I'm the known lesbian. I mean I have some guy friends I talk to but not that often and I guess the rest of them are just mad I like what they like it's whatever. I put the car in park, turn it off and just sit there. I get really nervous all of a sudden, maybe because I'm finally going to see H/n after months but I don't know. I guess I sat there too long because Hazel put her hand in front of my face and waved

"Helloooo earth to Y/n." she says

"Hey yeah sorry I was just thinking." I say cupping my face in my hands

"About...Oh wait is it about H/n?" she asks rubbing my back

"Yeah, I guess I'm just nervous yknow. I haven't seen her in months. I just wanna be friends again. What if she hates me." I say looking up at her

"I'm sure she doesn't hate you. I think y'all will become friends again, it just takes time ok?" she says giving me a hug and I nod

"Ok bitch enough sappy talk LETS GOO!" Hazel says laughing and getting out of the car. I laugh a little. Typical Hazel. I get out of the car and we start walking in. We get in the school and it's the same as sophomore year. Busy, people in their little groups talking. The bullies bullying the nerd. Couples making out, gross. We go get our schedules then we just wait in the front part of the school for the first period to start. Sadly me and Hazel only have Lunch and PE together, but that's better than nothing. I look around as me and Hazel are standing there and then I spot her. I get butterflies in my stomach, but they go away after a minute. I can't help but stare, it's like I'm seeing her for the first time again. Wow, my jaw drops a little; she had a MAJOR glow-up since the last time I saw her. Her skin is more tan, but she still has her shiny hair, and her eyes; those eyes I still can't tell what color they are. She's wearing a skirt which is really hot on her by the way, her legs are complemented very well by it. It's paired with an oversized pullover and either a button-down under it or one of those fake collars you get online. Then she looks my way here come the butterflies again fuck, she smiles. That damn smile that can light up the whole world and is also very contagious. The same smile I fell for back in sophomore year. I finally smile back then quickly look away I can feel my face getting a little hot and of course, Hazel had to notice

"Hey you good over there tomato." she says laughing

"Shut up." I say laughing with her

"Wonder who made THE Y/n Y/l/n blush." she says with a thinking face. The only reason she over-exaggerated 'the' is last year I had a girlfriend but it didn't last very long because she cheated on me and since then I swore to myself I would never fall for someone again, and Hazel knows that. I look back over at H/n just to see Jack all up on her and I turn away again feeling myself get a little angry. 'I just wish that was me' I say to myself. Hazel looks in the direction I was looking

"OHHH that's who, but do I see you quickly switching up and getting jealous. Yes, yes I do." she says chuckling

"What? No, no way I'm not jealous." I say hoping she'll buy it

"Mhm ok, it's ok though I don't like Jack either. He's an asshole." she says he bullied Hazel for a little bit because she was BI and saying stuff like 'you have to choose a side' or 'you can't just be in the middle' stuff like that. Well, I guess that's another thing we have in common. We both hate Jack.

The bell rings, we go our separate ways and I head to my first class.

H/n's POV:

We finally get to the school and Hailey finds a parking spot. As we are walking into the school we walk past Y/n's spot. I feel a little bit of relief that she's not here yet, but I really want to see her. We walk into the office to go get our schedules. We all compare them and I have Lunch with all of them. I have a few classes with each of them which is nice. We walk out to the front of the school to wait for the bell and they talk, but I'm not really listening I'm just kind of zoning out. Then she walks in 'Woah' I say to myself. She got taller, she was more tan which brings out her freckles, her hair was a little lighter, and she still has better style then any of the boys. I guess she didn't see me because her and Hazel just walked right in, probably to get their schedules. I look away and my group is still talking their asses off. About a minute goes by and I find myself looking around again and there she is looking at me, I noticed her mouth was a little open which made me smile and she smiled back then turned away. I suddenly felt butterflies in my stomach when she smiled 'why tho'. Did I mention I love her smile? Anyways I guess I was looking at her a little too long and the girls noticed

"Hey H/n you good?" Luke asks

"Yeah you've been looking in that direction for a long time." Hailey says

"I wonder why?" Luke says and everyone turned there heads 'oh god here we go' they turn back around smirking at me

"What?" I say

"You've got a little crush on Y/l/n!" they all say simultaneously laughing

"Shut up no I don't. It's just I haven't seen her in a long time ok." I say trying to hide my smile

"Yeah right I can see the little bit of drool coming out of your mouth." Hailey says pointing to my mouth

"We all know it." Luke says and I just roll my eyes

"We all know what?" I hear I familiar voice behind me. It's Jack yay he can save me from them

"Nothing nothing." they say still laughing and what was just said

"Hey babe." Jack says and pulls me in for a kiss, I return it

"Hey, let me see your schedule." I say and take his schedule and compare them and we only have second period together. Not gonna lie I'm pretty bummed we don't have a lot of classes together, but it's fine.

"We only have second period together." I say with a sad face

"Aww baby that's ok." he says hugging me from behind and reassuring me it's going to be fine. I suddenly get the urge to look at Y/n again. I give in and look over and she quickly turns her head away. Hm weird. The bell rings and we all go our separate ways. Great, first period and I have no one.
