Lunch

Y/n's POV:

I walk into first period, find a desk in the back and take a seat. While I'm waiting for the bell to ring so class can start, H/n walks in, oh shit this will be interesting. She keeps getting closer and closer until finally she takes a seat in the desk next to me. Should I say something? Nah wait for her to say something, bitch you look like a fool just staring at her. C'mon say something. After fighting with my thoughts I open my mouth to say something but

"Take a picture it'll last longer." she says turning to look at me with a smirk. I feel my face get hot but before I could say anything the bell rings and class starts

It's pretty boring the teacher is just going over the syllabus and class rules and stuff like that. It's kinda hard not to admire H/n. I keep making myself not look but every once in a while I glance over. She would catch me a few times and just smile. 'man this girl is something else' I would smile back of course. I look at the time and we have about 5 minutes left 'thank god'. Then the teacher says he's all done and we can talk amongst ourselves. 'finally I can talk to H/n now'

"Hey." I say immediately regretting it because I don't what to tell her, 'oh we couldn't be friends cause of your little boyfriend' No, that's just to straightforward, too to the point

"Hey." she says back with her signature smile which gives me butterflies like all the time

"How have you been?" I ask 'yeah great idea
Y/n make small talk that's not awkward at all'

"I'm good I guess, I just miss us being friends." she says, ahh thank god she feels the same

"Yeah me too." I say rubbing the back of my neck with my hand

"Sooo can we be friends again?" she says with a smile fuck how can I not say no ughhh, but it's for her own good and I'm not one to intrude in one's relationship. Then again being friends isn't bad and if Jack tries to tell her who she can and can't hangout with maybe just maybe they will break up hehe. Ah fuck it

"Yeah I would love to." I say with a smile. The bell rings and I stand up and so does H/n

"Hey do you wanna eat together at lunch?" she asks, I nod and she smiles again. I swear it never gets old.

H/n POV:

Ahh what a relief that conversation with Y/n took off my shoulders. I head to second period and I'm excited that I get to see Jack. I walk in and he is already sitting at a table, he waved me over with a smile. I walk over and sit across from him because he had his friends Ryan, Nick, and Chris in the other seats I say my hellos to them and then the bell rings and the class starts. It's just like last period. Boring. The teacher goes over the same stuff like in last class. Jack would occasionally look at me and smile I would catch him sometimes but what was weird is I wouldn't get butterflies anymore. Every time he would look at me when we first started dating I got butterflies but now they are gone. I would sometimes find myself thinking about Y/n and how I'm going to see her at lunch which made me really happy. Shit maybe my friends are right and I do have a crush on her. No no I just haven't seen her and had a real conversation with her in while. Yeah, that's why. No. That doesn't even make sense. I love Jack he's my boyfriend he makes me really happy too. I zone back into reality when I here the bell ring. Jack walks me to my next class and gives me a kiss before walking to his. You have got to be kidding me we have three more classes until lunch ugh I hate it here. But at least I all of them with my friends.

*Time Skip to Lunch*

Y/n POV:

Ahh yes finally lunch. I get to see H/n again, I hope Jack has a different lunch than us. I wait at Hazel's locker for her. I see her down the hall walking like a sloth

"YO HAZEL HURRY THE FUCK UP IM TRYING TO EAT!" I yell down the hall everyone turns and looks at me but it's whatever and she starts walking a little faster. She finally gets to her locker

"Yo what's the rush?" she asks and I just smile and look down

"Nothing, now cmon I'm hungry." I say walking away

"Ok I'm coming geez." she says rolling her eyes. We get to the lunch room, I stop and look around for H/n

"Yo I thought you were hungry why'd you stop." she says almost bumping into me. Then I finally spot her sitting with who look like Luke and Hailey. I start walking in that direction and as we get closer Hazel whispers

"Ohhh so that's what your hungry for ok ok I see you." she says smirking

"Oh my god could you shut up." I say laughing and playfully pushing her head away from my ear. We finally get to her table and she turns and looks at me smiling and tells me to come sit by her. Hazel sits by Hailey and Luke, they all start having their own conversation while me and H/n are on the other side of the table. I notice Jack isn't here

"Hey where's that little boyfriend of yours." I say looking at H/n

"That little boyfriend of mine has a name you know. It's Jack and he doesn't have the same lunch as me." she says while taking a bite of her sandwich. I get a little happy hearing her say that to be honest

"Yeah I know his name but that little boyfriend of yours is better." I say and she just rolls her eyes lightly laughing and I notice Hazel, Hailey, and Luke are laughing and keep looking at us

"Hey what y'all laughing about." I say to them and they immediately stop

"Oh nothing." they all say

"Mhm ok." I say

H/n POV:

As soon as I saw Y/n all I wanted to do was just hug her but that would have been weird considering we just got back on good terms today. The rest of lunch we caught up with everything that has happened when we weren't friends. It felt really nice to talk to her again. But the bell rang and ruined the fucking moment but I had PE next so I decided to ask Y/n what she had as we were walking to my locker because Y/n didn't have to get anything

"Oh, I have PE. What do you have?" she asks

"NO WAY I HAVE PE TOO!" I say but that was a little to loud so I cleared my throat

"I meant I do too." I said she started laughing and nodded then Jack came up behind me and hugged me and kissed my check. I couldn't help but notice Y/n face drop into what looks like anger and sadness

"Hey baby. Y/n." Jack says glaring at Y/n. Whats his problem? Whatever I'll talk to him later

"Hey babe, are you off to lunch now?" I ask turning around to look at him

"Yup." He says

"Ok I'll see you after school then!" I say giving him a kiss and he returns it and nods then walks away. I turn back to Y/n.

Y/n POV:

Ugh it made me sick seeing Jack all over her. He just wants her for her body and the fame he gets with being seen with her. I know I treat her better and to me it doesn't matter about the fame, it's the person

"Ok you ready to go?" she asks

"Yup." I say, and we are off to PE
