It was Sophomore year when 15-year-old Y/n Y/l/n and her mom, Y/m/n, moved to Michigan in mid-January on a Sunday. Y/m had already enrolled
Y/n into the local High School. Her first day was on Monday.

Y/n's POV:

Ahh, we finally made it. My mom and I soon got off the plane and headed to get our bags. Once we got our bags my mom called a Uber, once the Uber got here we both got in and we headed to our new home

"Are you excited to start at your new school tomorrow, Y/n?" my mom asks

"Yeah I guess, I don't know though. I miss my friends." I say in a saddened tone

"Aww honey, I'm sure you'll make new ones here." she says while giving me a hug

We soon arrived at the house, all I could think was, wow. It wasn't necessarily a mansion but in my eyes, it was home.

We got out of the Uber, grabbed our bags, and I just stood there admiring our new home as my mom paid the Uber driver. She was finally done talking her ass off with him when she finally stood by me

"Haha, are you just going to stand there or what?" my mom chuckles

"Wheres the keys? I need to see the inside now." I ask with a demanding tone, but with a huge smile on my face, so she didn't think was being too demanding

"They are under the welcome mat." my mom says with a smile while pointing in the direction of the mat

I sprinted to the front while carrying my bags. My mom was laughing at me but I didn't care and started walking over. I dropped my bags and looked under the mat and picked up the keys. I quickly put the key in the keyhole and opened the door. It was everything I could ever dream of. My mom bought the house with all the furniture too, so that's a plus. My mom walked in also admiring the house and laughing at me literally freaking out. I brought my bags up to my room, the same with my mom. We got settled in and it was already nine o'clock at night, so I decided to go to bed because I start my first day tomorrow. I went and said goodnight to my mom, then went to take shower. After my shower, I laid down in my bed What if they think I'm weird? What if it's a homophobic school? What if I'm alone the rest of the year and don't make any friends?. All these questions started running through my head. As I was thinking I felt my eyes get heavy and soon fell asleep.

I woke up to my alarm and I looked at the time it was six in the morning, perfect. That gives me enough time to figure out what the fuck I'm going to wear, and eat breakfast. After a few minutes of contemplating what to wear I choose this

Simple yet stylish. I walk downstairs to see my mom cooking. I look at the time it was already six thirty. Shit school starts in 30 minutes. I cant be late on the first day! I quickly eat and call a Uber

"Thanks for cooking mom. I got to go. bye!" I say jogging towards the door

"Bye honey, have a good day!" Mother says as I was walking out the door

I got in the Uber and told him where I was going, and I was on my way. I made it to the school at six forty-five. Sweet, that gives me time to get my schedule. I walk in and wow is it a busy school, anyways I make my way to the office. I finally get to the office

"Hi I'm Y/n Y/l/n, I'm new and I was wondering if you have my schedule?" I ask the front desk lady

"Ah yes, we do. Here you are." she says as she hands me my schedule

"We will also give you a guide to help you find your classes, and don't worry she has all the same classes as you. She should be here any minute now. For now, you can take a seat in one of the chairs behind you." she says, not gonna lie I'm pretty hyped I get a guide so i'm not lost all the time. And I could make a new friend, or more

"Ok thank you." I say and she nods with a smile. I pull out my phone and check all my socials while I wait. About 5 minutes later this girl walks in, in a white crop top, whitewashed denim jeans, air force 1's, and her hair down. I know I've only seen the back of her but damn. She then turns around and the sun shining through the window hits her just right. She has shinny hair, her eyes are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and a smile that is contagious. Fuck, you got to act cool Y/n come on

"Hi, I'm H/n, H/n H/l/n. You must be the new kid I'm guiding today." she says keeping her smile, I could melt right now her smile is beautiful. I stand up towering over her by a couple inches, not much though

"Yup that's me, the new kid. I'm Y/n by the way." I say with a smile and stick out my hand for her to shake it and she does

"Well first off welcome to Michigan High. Follow me to our first class." she says walking out of the office. I follow her

She is the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. This is going to be an interesting year.

H/n's POV:

I wake up and turn over to grab my phone to check the time and it's six thirty in the morning. I groan and get out of bed to go brush my teeth and get dressed. I wear a white crop top, some whitewashed denim jeans, and my air force 1s. I walk downstairs to see my little brother Josh eating some cereal and watching cartoons and my mother making some breakfast I sit down at the table and my mom turns around

"Oh hi honey, would you like some eggs and bacon?" she asks

"Uhm sure, thanks, also are you taking Josh to school, or do I need to." I ask while she sets down a plate of food in front of me

"I can, but don't you have to leave now. Arent, you guiding a new student today?" she ask tilting her head to the side a little, and I just start to remember

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot. Bye Josh. Bye, mom!" I say walking out the door

"Bye," they both say

I get into my car and look at the time and it's six forty. Shit I'm supposed to be there in five minutes and it takes fifteen, I guess I'll just speed. After making my way passed all the slow cars I finally get there and rush inside, go to my locker say hi to my friends Hailey and Luke, then speed walk to the office. I get there just in time

"Hi I'm H/n, I'm supposed to be guiding a new student." I say to Mrs. Johnson, the desk lady

"Ahh yes, she is right behind you." Mrs. Johnson says pointing behind me

I turn around and she was already looking at me I give her a smile and she smiles back. I can't help but admire if I'm being honest she has this gorgeous skin, amazing eyes, and soft looking hair, oh and did I mention she dresses better than any guy here. She was wearing a black sweater, with khaki pants, and some air force 1s. Wow she's kind of hot, wait what am I thinking I'm straight and I have a boyfriend named Jack. I walk over

"Hi, I'm H/n, H/n H/l/n. You must be the new kid I'm guiding today." I say with a smile

"Yup that's me, the new kid. I'm Y/n by the way" she chuckles and sticks out her hand to shake and I shake it. I don't want to be rude

"Well first off welcome to Michigan High. Follow me to our first class." I say as I'm walking out the door and I turn around real quick to see if she follows and she is. I turn back around and think about how this year is going to be interesting.
