H/N POV:

I walk into class and this class I have Luke and Hailey so I decided I'm going to tell them about Jack. I go sit by them

"Hey guys what do you do if your boyfriend is smiling at his phone, but you weren't texting him," I say getting straight to the point

"WAIT WHAT?!" Luke yells

"Shhhh," I say putting my finger over my mouth

"Break up with him," Hailey says

"Maybe ask him about it," Luke says

"Yeah but what if it was really nothing then he gets mad that I thought he was cheating," I say looking down

"Ok but what if it is something and he just gets all protective about it. Then you'll be able to tell," Hailey says

"Yeah I guess," I say rest my head on my hand as class starts. I wasn't paying attention because all I could think about was Jack, looking down at his phone, smiling. I couldn't get it out of my head. Then the bell rings I have this next class with Y/n, maybe she can help with cheering me up. I walk into class seeing her sitting our table looking at me with a smile on her face. I couldn't help but smile 'she's adorable'. I walk over

"Hey N/n," she says as I sit down in my chair

"Hey," I say bluntly

"You ok?" she says with concern in her voice and with those words I couldn't hold it in anymore I ran out of the class room straight to the bathrooms.

Y/N POV:

I see H/n run out of the room and I go and ask the teacher if I can make sure she's ok and she says yes. I walk to the bathrooms, that's where I figured she would be. I walk in hearing little sniffles in the last stall

"Hey H/n, can you open the door please," I say in a soft voice. About a minute goes by and the door opens. It breaks my heart seeing this her eyes were red and puffy, she looked done with everything

"Come here," I say pulling her into a hug and we just stand there, with my arms around her and her arms around me. I put my chin on top of her head and start swaying. About 5 minutes go by and I here her sniffles stop, she pulls away

"Sorry I got your shirt wet," she says giving me what looks like a fake smile

"It's fine, do-" I hesitate asking the question but maybe it'll help "do you want to talk about it," I say wiping her tears with my thumb

"I- I think Jack is cheating on me," she says and I feel immediate anger build up "because I saw him looking down at his phone smiling and I wasn't texting him," she says and I pull her into a hug

"I'm sure it's nothing, maybe he's just planning something for you guys and he got excited about it," I say trying to help but all a really want to say is he is and for her to break up with him but I can't bring myself too

"Yeah maybe," she mumbles against my chest

"We should probably get back to class," I say trying to pull away but she pulls me back into a hug

"Can we stay like this a little longer," she says

"Sure," I say with a faint smile while I'm hugging her I take in everything that she does. The way she smells. The way she will rub her head into my chest to get comfortable. Just every little movement she makes.

H/N POV:

As we are standing there hugging I feel so safe and for a minute I forget about everything. I take in the smell of her cologne. The way she is squeezing me but not to tight. The way she sways a little bit and rubs my back- I stop thinking and say

"We should get back to class now," while pulling away from her

"Ok," she says and we walk out of the bathroom back to class.

*TIME SKIP TO THE END OF THE END OF SCHOOL*

I walk to my locker and see Jack standing there, on his phone, smiling. 'god what the fuck'

"What are you smiling about," I say looking him dead in the eyes and he quickly puts his phone away

"Oh uh- nothing it's uh a surprise," he says with a smile, well that make me feel better but I'm still skeptical but I just brush it off

"So how was your day?" he ask 'should I tell him I had a break down in the bathroom because of him' 'no cause then he will ask why'

"It was good how was yours," I ask

"Oh uhm pretty good. Are you doing anything after school," he asks "there is someone I want you to meet,"

"Yeah actually Y/n is coming over to work on a project, but I'll you know when we are done and I can come over then," I say

"Oh ok that's fine. Just come over when you can," he says with a smile and I nod. Once I get all my stuff he walks me out to my car 

"Bye," he says giving me a kiss and smiling

"Bye," I say smiling I get into my car, start it and dive off

Y/N POV:

I arrive at home and walk in seeing my mom on the couch watching TV

"Hey mom," I say going into the kitchen to get something to eat

"Oh hey sweetie. How was school?" she asks coming into the kitten and sitting at the bar

"I was good, I'm going over to H/n's after I eat to work on a project," I say taking a bite of some leftovers that I found in the fridge

"Oh so y'all are friends again?" she asks

"Yes mom FRIENDS," I say making sure she knows we are just friends

"Ok ok but you two would look cute together," she says

"I don't have a chance anyways, she has a boyfriend," I say looking down at me food

"Awh sweetie I'm sure y'all's time with come," she says coming to give me a hug

"Ok I'm going to head over there now," I say putting my bowl in the sink

"Okay sweetie have fun, but not to much fun," she say winking at me and I just roll my eyes

"Love you mom," I say walking towards the door

"Love you too," she says

I hop in my car and then I realized I don't know where H/n lives. I get out my phone and text her

I start driving to her house while jamming out to some music and decide to go get some food for her and a drink for me cause I just ate. I get her some Taco Bell and I am on my way to her house. I finally get there and bring the food to the door with me. I ring the door bell and not even a minute later H/n opens the door.
