After your eventful night with your new team, you retired to your room. The rest of them were planning on heading that way soon, but decided to stay up a little longer. You had played a long game of LIFE with the new crew, Bruno obviously winning it all and Fugo getting mad.

This team was much different than the last. After the deaths of Sorbet and Gelato, your team split apart. No one talked besides on missions and even then it was only work. It became lonely, but now, you didn't feel that way anymore. Everyone made you feel at home, even Abbachio, who did nothing but stare at you coldly.

You let out a long yawn as you opened your door, closing it and plopping onto the bed. You didn't bother changing out of your clothes from today, you were exhausted. Being up all last night and the stress of this whole team switch took a pretty big toll on you.

Soon, you were off and asleep, dreaming of nothing but the new possibilities of this new team.

For a couple months, you began warming up to your team. They would shower you with stupid jokes and always make sure you were okay. Even Abbachio, who after a hard night for you, came to cheer you up. You slowly began to let your guard down, showing the team your true self. You loved to make jokes and laugh with them, something they didn't know when you first met.

The people of Naples loved you too. You would often take walks and talk to the residents. You would help tourists and make sure kids got to the local school safely. They all knew you by (Y/N), as Mendacius was soon lost within the minds of Naple's citizens.

Mista was your best friend, but in a close second was Narancia. You three would always end up having mini-sleepovers, always getting caught by Bruno. Fugo would help you study for your stand, always making sure to be gentle and not lose his temper when something came out wrong. Abbachio was like your emotional support animal, he would always cheer you up in his own, sometimes twisted, way, but you knew he meant well. In your free time, the two of you would take small walks at night, always admiring the cities views. Bruno was your backbone, the emotional and physical support that kept you going. Everything was great, almost too great.

March 29th, 2001 (16/17 years old)

You were walking your way through the city streets, making sure to greet all the locals. You would wave and smile at everyone, making sure that even the tourists felt safe. You walked up to a group of younger kids, known to be troublesome. They were trying to draw something on the side of a local cornerstore.

"Markkkkk~" You drag out the last syllable as you walk up behind them, creating a large shadow over their small bodies. They obviously freeze up and turn slowly to see you.

"Y-yes Ms.(Y/N)?" They say, trying to act as though they were doing nothing wrong.

"What cha' doing?" You ask, staring down at the little boys. They begin to shake a little.

"N-nothing! Please don't tell my Nonna, she'll kick my butt again!" Mark yells, going on his knees. You laugh and bend down to his level, patting his head and ruffling his hair.

"I won't tell, but on one condition." You say holding your fingers to you chin.

"Yes, anything!" The child pleas.

"You let me walk you back home and I get to talk to your Nonna. I swear I won't tell her what happened, I just want to make sure she's doing okay. And ask her for that gnocchi recipe." You say to the little boy, whispering the last part. He lights up and stands up to grab your hand, waving bye to his other friends. You give them a warning look as they wave to you and walk back home.
