*(Shota's POV)*

I could feel myself slip in and out of sleep as my history teacher droned on.  My stomach hurt from where Todoroki had winded me at lunch, but it wasn't anything serious. I couldn't help but wonder why he did that. I mean, I hadn't said anything, looked at him the wrong way or physically harmed him. I just...existed. I sighed. Maybe he just hated me. Wouldn't be the first time. 'hang on a second, what about that blonde boy? what's his name....Hizashi?' I sighed again. 'he hung around all of lunch and break, even though he clearly has friends!'

I groaned. Like anyone would want to be friends with me.

"HEEEEEEEEEEEYYY SHOTAAAAAAAAAA!!!" a familiar voice screeched from the doorway, making me wince.

"What do you want, Yamada? and I told you not to call me that." I mumbled sluggishly, refusing to lift my head up from the desk.

I heard a chuckle echo around the room as cockatoo walks towards my desk.

"I don't know if you've noticed, sleeping beauty, but lessons are over! We're finally freeeee!"

I felt him sit on my desk and lean down, and suddenly my face begins to heat up.

"Yo Shota? You good?"

In need of some air, I tip my head upwards and find Hizashi staring at me with an innocent, caring expression. For some unknown reason (nature being a bitch) my heart speeds up, and any trace of sleep immediately disappears.  We're so close, I can feel his breath on my forehead, and for a second my mind goes blank. What is this feeling? It's so strange, definitely something I haven't experienced before....I shake myself out of my stupor, and sit up in my chair. Hizashi is stumbling across the room towards the door, spilling out apologies as he goes, but I'm not focusing on him. To be more specific, I'm focusing on that feeling I'm sure we both just shared. I still remember vividly what happened, how my mind shut down, but there was something else. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on. I take a deep internal sigh, and start gathering up my empty notebooks. Feelings can go suck a dick, I don't have time for this bullshit.
