2 YEARS AFTER WEDDING (I told you, I'm lazy)

"Are you sure we should do that? Elwin told me to have bed rest. That's not rest" Sophie told Keefe hair drying her wet hair

"We should! It's not like we follow rules in the first place," Keefe beseeched, yanking on his shirt

"Yeah, but I mean the twins' due date is in like a month," Sophie stated heading to their bed and laying down carefully and staring at her enormous belly. "What if they're early?"

"Come on Sophie it'll be fun," Keefe responded from their bathroom. "I'll be there to protect you. Right?"

"But you want to go to a human beach? I mean the human one! We have tons of beaches here!"

"Sophie, please? Don't be a buzzkill"

Sophie rolled her eyes

"UGH! Keefe fine! There's no use to bicker with you,"

"I know right!?" Keefe said, while he laughed

"You do know that I have no clothes for the beach- or any human clothes,"

"Uh, you can wear mine?"

Sophie rolled her eyes again. "You SERIOUSLY-"

"Sophie, first stop yelling," Keefe said benevolently walking over to her while messing his hair. "You know it's bad for you,"

He leaned down but Sophie jerked her head at the last moment and the kiss landed on her cheek.

"Uh-uh, no kisses for you"

"Why?" Keefe whined

"What should I wear?" Sophie iterated

"You can wear one of my shirts,"

"Fine, whatever,"

"Now?"

Sophie reacted by reaching up and pulling Keefe down, kissing him.

"Good?"

"Possibly," Keefe said, leaning down to kiss her one more time. "Now"

"You're impossible" Sophie noted

"And that's why you love me!"

"Can't you say something different?"

"Can't you?"

Sophie groaned. "Just go to sleep, Keefe,"

"You got it!" Keefe said lying near Sophie. "G'night, Soph also goodnight to these two troublemakers" Keefe said, leaning down to kiss her belly

Sophie smiled. "Goodnight, Keefe"

"I love you," Keefe droned, wrapping his arm carefully around her waist

"I love you, too," Sophie said drifting off

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hurry up, Soph!" Keefe yelled, pulling on his sleeveless shirt

"Why are you in a rush?" Sophie asked looking out of the bathroom wearing Keefe's shirt and black leggings. "You take two hours on your hair! Two!"

"What? I need to look irresistible, and you know it,"

Sophie rolled her eyes, grabbing a crystal. "Yeah, sure,"

Keefe grinned, offered her his arm and said: "let's go"

***

After a few hours at the beach of wandering in the water, sand in their toes, Sophie all of a sudden felt a sharp jolt of pain in her stomach.

Oh-no

Sophie clutched Keefe's arm and groaned. "My water broke,"

"WHAT!" He clenched Sophie's hand and scrambled out their home crystal.

"Lets... go," Sophie said, grabbing her stomach

"Sophie sorry- this is all my fault we should have stayed home-all-my-fault-"

"KEEFE! I...stop...go....get...help...english," Sophie gasped, she pushed the crystal back in his pocket. "Not... here- humans,"

"I...I'm sorry, I need to c-"

"GO!" Sophie shouted

"I-I-Sophie just breath....." Keefe went off sprinting. Sophie bent her head back

She'll have to go through pain

No elvin medicine

Keefe picked Sophie up- bridal-style

"Everything is going to be okay, Sophie... hang on"
