Lazy Day

Asahi blink his eyes waking up to the early morning sun in his face, he look around seeing he wasn't in his room at his own house. His mind return to what happen the night before, he couldn't help but to smile. He and Raven got up early to shower and to clean her bed before Tanaka and Yu woke up, he than remember falling back to sleep after watching something on her tv. He turn over seeing Raven still sleeping, her hair was free to do what ever it wanted. He always admire her hair color choices especially when the sun hits it just right. He had to say, this color commutation is his favorite so far.

Asahi scoot closer to her wrapping his arm around her body, his face was buried in her hair as his body curl around hers. He smiles just enjoying the silence and the warm morning sun on his body. He felt himself going back to sleep when he heard her room door open, "Hey Sis, Asahi. Wake up." Yu said rubbing his eyes. Raven raise her arm to him, "We're up bro." "Ok." Yu close the door quietly.

Asahi couldn't help but to smile at the Nishinoya siblings, it was cute seeing them so close and clearly care for one another. I suppose since their parents aren't around much things like that will happen.

He remember Raven telling him that Yu use to be so afraid of everything when they were little that Raven would be the one to always protect him. It wasn't until their grandfather took Yu under his wing that the boy started to gain some confidence. Asahi couldn't wrap his mind around Yu being such a scary cat, seeing him now one would ever thought he was. Yu has always been his biggest cheerleader, Asahi sometime find himself leaning on Yu to give him confidence.

That is why he admire Raven,  and why he was so surprise that she took losing her position so hard that she cried. Raven is the strongest person that he knows, both of the Nishinoya are if he was honest. Even Tanaka look up to Raven. Asahi thought that Tanaka liked her at one point but Tanaka always reassure him that Raven was strictly his friend and nothing more. Asahi can tell Raven is special, she always has been. When he first witness her playing against Oikawa and stood her ground he knew she was a powerful person.

As he got to know her and now dating her, he found she was still a girl at heart. She has her moments were she brings out her feminine side. She never made him fell like the woman in the relationship, she was obviously more assure of herself than he was. She knows what she wants and she go and gets it. She faces challenges head on. She never gives up, she keep fighting and get stronger doing so. Still even Raven has her weak moments.

Asahi never felt he had to prove anything with her around, even when he just gave up on the game with Date Tech. She wasn't mad about it, she was more mad that he pushed her away. He still feel soreness from the tackle she done to him. He would chuckle remembering about seeing her fury first hand towards him. When she ask him if he wanted to end things with her he didn't think twice about turning that down.

He can't see his life without her, she's such a big part of it. Along with Yu, Daichi, Suga, and Tanaka. The five of them has been together for so long that he just couldn't imagine life without his friends and girlfriend. Asahi felt lucky to have good people around him, that never gave up on him. How many people can say their girlfriend didn't leave because they had a laps of weakness. Not much.

Asahi kiss Raven on her head making her giggle in his hold, "Morning." He whispers to her. Raven turn around cuddling in his chest, "Morning." She whispers back. Her hand clench his shirt as he pull her close. Raven listen to his heart enjoying the rhythm of it. Asahi rest his chin on top of her head staring outside her window, how many guys can say their girlfriends are amazing in every way possible. No one, but him.

Tanaka and Yu yawn as they sat in front of the tv watching morning cartoons while Raven was cooking everyone breakfast. Asahi was helping after Yu and Tanaka help set the table, "Hey Raven Girl, can you cut my hair? I really need a buzz." Tanaka asked looking back at her, "Sure, I need to do mine as well." She ran her hand over her growing peach spot, "Do you need a trim Asahi?" She asked. Asahi nod his head, "Sure, can't pass up a free cut." He smiles to her.
