No art this time because I was too busy. Happy (late) Thanksgiving!

Nashi stared at the pages in front of her, ready to fill them out to be an official member of Fairy Tail. She wrote her name where she was instructed to, putting down Corazon, Nashi after her mother's pen name. For magic, she simply wrote Fire, not wanting to give her dragon-slaying abilities away for obvious reasons. Continuing down the page, she filled in all the adequate information and lied when necessary. A few minutes later, she was finally done and ready to hand it in.

Nashi stepped out of the room, turning a few heads her way. She went over to the bar where Mira was and said, "I'm done filling it out."

Mira turned. "That was fast. You can give it to the guild master now if you like. He's in his office on the second floor."

Nashi's heartbeat quickened as she nodded. Lucy had mentioned her master dozens of times, describing his fatherly attitude and protective nature with a gentle smile on her face. She knew that he had retired years ago and gave his position to his grandson, but that didn't stop the curiosities arising in Nashi's mind, wondering how different he was to his grandfather.

Now in front of a closed door, Nashi brought her hand up to it and knocked.

"Come in."

Nashi opened the door and saw a large room with bookcases lining the walls of it. Directly in front of her was a wide window. Standing in front of that window was a large desk, and sitting behind it was a blond man writing on some documents. He looked up and his face contorted into confusion.

"Who are you?"

Nashi stammered, "Uh, hi. I'm Nashi. I'm gonna be joining the guild, so, uh, here are the papers for... it." Nashi carefully placed the stack on his desk, puzzled at the stare he was giving her.

Does he know who I am?

Realizing he was staring, Laxus snapped his eyes to the papers she had and picked them up, speaking as he read. "Nashi Corazon... born May third? So you just turned fifteen?"

"Yes, sir."

"Alright then. Fire magic?" Laxus snorted. "When Natsu gets back he may wanna fight you, so just tell me or Erza if he starts bothering you." He signed his name on the last page and stood up, towering over the girl. "Okay, you're all set. I'm Laxus, the master of this guild." He extended his arm. "Do you want me to introduce you now, or do you need a minute?"

Nashi shook his hand and nodded. "Now's good."

Laxus nodded and led her downstairs. He stopped in front of the bar and shouted, "May I have everyone's attention, please?" Once he had everyone's eyes on them, he placed a hand on Nashi's shoulder and continued. "We have a new member joining us today. This is Nashi Corazon. I expect you all to treat her well and-"

"Holy shit, did he say Corazon!?"

"Uh, yes, I did, but I don't see how that's relev-"

Two seconds later a flock of wizards gathered around them, shouting over one another. Laxus, appalled by the sudden interest in his new member, left Nashi to fend for herself against the others.

"Are you by any chance related to L.J. Corazon, the author?"

Though Nashi was well aware of her mother's fame, she was surprised that a guild known for its dangerous antics would know of literature, save for the few who enjoyed reading. "Um, yeah, she's my mo-"

More shouts were heard.

"Oh my god, I love her books! Personally, I think her best one was-"
