FLASHBACK

Can this girl get any more annoying??

I asked my inner self when Ruby kept on lamenting about a stupid club on a peaceful Friday evening.

She kept on pushing me to go for the club, blabbering shit, saying,

"its not gonna hurt",
"it won't even take long",
"just to have some fun".

  Arrggghh!
 like how did we become besties again??

 "Ruby". I called.

"sweetie".
she answered batting her forest-like lashes, like seriously, no one should have that much hair on their eyes, but who am I to judge anyways,
not like I'm perfectly made though.

"Can you for once let me have my peace, when did you even get here?, you never told me you were coming". I questioned her.

"your saying it like I ask for grants or permission to visit you".
She emphasised on the 'you'.

" Yeah, I get it but your bugging me honey, and you know I hate it, Yunno sometimes I wonder how we ended up in the same college, so unfortunate, if you know what I mean". 
I asked her with all seriousness in my eyes cos this lovely bish was one load of a hell-raiser.

"Oh Hennessy my gurl you've got no idea, and you should be happy, it's not everyday you see such perfection of a bestie".
she made gestures to herself.
"and that why you love me regardless, so get up your lazy ass and turn up the partyyy".
she slurred like she was drunk.

As if. I rolled my eyes inwardly.

If we were to go to this club, I was yet to see dem drunken state from her, she was always a mess when she gets drunk,
like who isn't?.

Buh her's is on a whole different level, at least from the much I've seen.

  "Fineee!, I'll go, not like I really have much to do at home anyways, but this still better be worth the stress or else Ruby, you'll get it coming".

I warned her with no joke eyes, and she knew why there was seriousness in my tone".

" Sure, no probs babe". She said tapping on my shoulders.

" yayyy!!!, time for some makeoverrr".

I've got to say, Ruby is quite the loud one, or as I'd love to tease her,
'the life of the party',

She's always updated on gossips and trends and PARTIES, that I wonder how I got entangled with the whole of....wellll....."her", generally.

When we reached the Donalee's club, a very popular club not so far from town,
and I've got to say, this club was always the talk of the night and town on Fridays,
People coming here for fun, always dress up like they be attending a party or a big occasion.
So of course I had to Glam up, for Ruby.
she strode towards the entrance with her pretty and dashing dark blue gown, that hugged her shape perfectly, I on the other hand wore a hot dark dress, that had a slit from half of my thighs to the floor, we had some light makeup on and hairs tied in loose buns,

She clearly insisted that we dress like this because the club was 'hot stuff'...I rolled my eyes inwardly and prayed for my dearest friend.

"Ruby, I know you're going to disappear in no time buh please do not disgrace us okayy?, Like you said, the club is hot stuff, so take the drinking down a notch , kay swii??".
