Good day loyal readers! Hope you enjoyed the last chapter now here is the next!

While walking Henry lets out a laugh. "What?" Snow asks. "Nothing it's just that I'm just now realizing that I share a sister with my grandma." Henry laughs. Snow laughs along with him. "Yes, I suppose we do share a sister. But what isn't a little unusual in our family?" Snow asks. "Nothing," Henry replies. Snow laughs and they enter the room.

Snow went to the police station to talk to her father. It's been 2 days since Daniella was born and Regina got to take her home. Snow walks into the station with a confident smile on her face. "Hello, Father." She says and walks up to him. "Snow darling! It's so nice to see you! I wasn't sure you'd want to see me again." The king says. "I haven't forgiven you but . . . your still my father and I still love you." Snow replies. The king nods. "So Regina had Dani." Snow starts. Sadness fills Leopold's eyes. "She's just as cute as I remember." Snow says. Leopold looks down. "Here." She says and hands him a picture of Daniella and Regina earlier that day. The king looks lovingly at the picture. "Your right she is cute . . . and Regina looks very beautiful," Leopold says. Snow looks at him shocked. "I had a heart to heart with your husband and uh well never mind but I realized my mistakes and that I never really hated Regina. Or Daniella I just needed someone to blame for your mother and well I married her so you would have a mother but I didn't want another wife. Eventually, I began hating her because she wasn't Eva and didn't do everything Eva did. I didn't like how quiet and shy Regina was but now I realize she was just a girl." Leopold explains. "Oh, father. I, I'm not saying it's ok because nothing justifies how you treated her but . . . I understand." Snow says. Leopold nods. "Can, can I meet her?" He asks shyly. Snow sighs. "It's up to Regina. And father . . . I really don't think she'd be comfortable with the idea." Snow says softly. "But she is my daughter too! She has no right to keep her from me!" Leopold yells. Snow gives him a look. "Sorry . . . I understand." He says sadly. "But I do have good news. You get to be on probation." Snow says happily. "What on earth is that?" The king asks. "It means you get to leave the sheriff's station but if you slip up at all you have to come back." Snow explains. The king nods. "Fair enough." He replies.

After they leave the station they head to the loft. As they walk in the door they hear laughter from the living room. They walk in and find Regina sitting on the couch with Daniella in her arms. Henry is sitting next to her talking to Emma. "Oops." Regina laughs. She stands up with Daniella in her arms still in her arms and wipes the baby's mouth. Snow gasps and tries to hurry her father out of the room quickly. But before they make it out they hear glass break in the kitchen. Snow turns and sees Regina standing in the kitchen with wide and terrified eyes. A shattered cup and spilled tea lay on the floor underneath Regina. The sound of broken glass wakes up sleeping, Daniella. She begins to cry from Henry's arms. The sound of her daughter crying snaps Regina out of her trance. She tears her eyes away from the king and walks to take Daniella from Henry. She picks up the crying infant carefully and rocks her back and forth. "Shhh. It's ok Dani." Regina coos. Daniella calms down soon and rests her head on her mother's chest closing her eyes. Snow watches with a smile. As does the king surprisingly. Leopold has guilt and sadness filling his chest. He feels guilty for everything he did Regina and the way he treated Daniella. He hasn't ever really felt this way but he feels a twinge of love towards Regina. Not exactly the type of husband and wife love but fatherly love towards her. It's taking all his power to not go up to them and hug them. Regina and Daniella. He wants that chance at raising Daniella and being her father. He also wants to make amends with Regina and maybe be a father figure in her life.

He then walks up to her. She turns to him with scared eyes. She holds Daniella tighter and closer to her. "Regina. I'm not going to hurt you, don't worry. I wanted to apologize for everything I've done to you. You were just a girl, not much older than Snow and I had no business asking you to marry me. In fact, if I remember correctly it wasn't even you who accepted the proposal. So I'm sorry for that and I'm even more sorry for hurting you physically and mentally for so many years. You may not have given me a son but you gave me another beautiful daughter. I know this isn't an excuse but I wanted you to be Eva and you weren't you were Regina and I wish I realized that sooner. You are my wife and I made you my prisoner. If you'll let me I'd really like to be a father to Daniella and I want to be a better husband for you. I'd like to be more of a father figure in your life instead of a love interest because I recognize that even though I'm from the past your still much, much younger than me. I'm sorry Regina. Will you accept my apology?" The king asks sincerely. Then Regina does something no one ever thought she would do. She looks straight up at him and bursts into tears. She hands Daniella to Snow and sits down on the couch burying her face in her hands. The king looks at Snow questioningly. She shrugs. "Henry, will you take Daniella and go outside for a bit?" Snow asks while handing the infant to her grandson. Henry looks back at his mom resistantly but gives in and goes outside. Emma and her dad go to the kitchen to give them space. Snow sits down next to crying Regina. "Regina? Are you alright?" Snow asks delicately. Regina looks up at her stepdaughter with red, teary eyes. Her usually rosy cheeks are tear-stained. "Oh, Regina." Snow says while wrapping her arms around Regina. "I want to believe him! I really do but no one ever seems to love me or at least enough to choose me! My own mother barely even cared about me! No one has ever apologized like that too me and I don't know . . . I guess it scared me." Regina cries quietly. "Listen to me, Regina. I love you. I love you so much and Henry loves you and Daniella loves you and Roland loves you. Robin loves you too even if it seems like he doesn't. Cora was a horrible mother, don't judge yourself by what she told you. Deep down she loved you and I know your father did too. You've always had it rough but you know what? It will get better I promise. It already is. When I look in your eyes I see hurt and sadness but also love. Somewhere inside you are still that brave, kind, girl with that spark of light and joy in her eyes. Lately, I'm starting to see her again. I know you think that that girl is gone and that the spark died when Daniel did but it didn't. It just got buried away for a long time. It's ok to not forgive someone right away. I think you want to forgive my father but it's easier to forgive than to forget. That was the same thing that happened to me and you. I know your hurting but you have to let yourself be happy to be happy." Snow says softly to Regina. Regina takes a deep breath. Then stands up and walks over to her husband. "I want to get a divorce. Not because I hate you but because like you said I'd rather have you as a father figure. I want Daniella to get to know her father so yes you can see her. But I want to start small okay? At first, I want to be there but then maybe you can see her but only when Snow or someone else who I trust is there. Then if all goes well you can watch her alone sometimes." Regina says. The king nods. "Thank you." He says with a smile. Regina returns it. "You, you did hurt me but I will learn to fully forgive you over time. It's easier to forgive than to forget . . . but no one has ever apologized to me like that and I, I respect you for that." Regina says with a smile. The king looks at her lovingly. "You're a wonderful person Regina. I never meant what I said too. I never thought you were ugly or stupid or anything else I said. Deep down I thought you were beautiful and smart and so many other things I was just too scared to admit it." Leopold says sadly. Regina smiles at him warmly. Then she does something no one expected in a thousand years. She slowly steps towards him and wraps her arms around his waist and lays her head on his chest. He lets out a relieved laugh and hugs her back. Snow watches with a really big smile. Then right on time Henry walks in with Daniella. Regina lets go of Leopold and goes over to her kids. She kisses Henry on the head and takes her daughter in her arms. She holds her close and kisses her on the head and then walks up to Leopold. "Would you like to hold her?" She asks. He looks at her with shocked eyes. "Really? You're okay with that?" He asks. She nods. "I really think you're telling the truth." She says. He smiles. "But you have to wash your hands first." She says sternly. He lets out a laugh and nods walking into the kitchen. When he comes back Regina is sitting on the couch with Daniella cradled in her arms. He takes a moment to capture this moment. This precious moment when he first holds his daughter and makes amends with Regina. "Do you want to hold her or are you just going to stand there?" Regina asks softly. He looks up and smiles. Leopold walks over and gently takes the infant from her mother's arms. At first, she lets out a wail when she realizes she's out of her mother's warm arms but settles when Regina gently puts a hand on her daughter's stomach. The king rocks her gently back and forth. He looks up at Regina and sees a smile on her face. And not the type of smile she's worn so many times before but a genuine smile. He looks into her brown eyes. He remembers the day he met her, how she was such a young girl. She had this spark in her eyes that just seemed to disappear the moment they were married. Leopold watches his wife gaze over their daughter lovingly. 'She always was a wonderful mother.' He thinks.
