You test all of the other kitchen supplies on the body right after.
Forcing the cops into confusion as they fail to find the murder weapon, as the can't find what the fatal blow was.
How to go with this:
Describe the body during the autopsy.
Write the killing scene.
Describe the scene from the first responder's POV.
Write the murderer's train of thought while planning this out.
Have the murderer have a psychotic break and regret the murder after. What do they do with the guilt?
