Prompt

Someone allergic to the sun... UV rays.

This is a real thing. I did some research. You can either do your own or use the provided stuff.

Someone with this genetic disease is commonly said to be allergic to the sun. But it is actually UV Rays. So anything that has UV lights of sorts can have these reactions.

Now before I get into the research. The idea was. Someone allergic to UV rays goes to a tanning bed (which uses UV rays to activate different chemicals in your body) to commit suicide.

Consider:

Vampires

Diana from Lights Out

Twins

Research: The short stuff.

Two types.

Skin and Nervous.

Skin causes these symptoms.

The Name: Porphyria cutanea tarda: Cutaneous (PCT)

Abdominal painMuscle fatigueUV reactant pee (it turns purple when you shine UV Light on it)HallucinationsChest, back, limb painBlisteringNervous system and liver problemsSkin fragility

Meanwhile. Nervous System one: Acute.

SeizuresHigh blood pressureChronic painLiver damage

The attacks are sudden and happen in sunlight.

Not all of the symptoms happen, and not at once.

Very rare to have both Nervous and Skin. But it's possible.

Other names that I can't remember what are for. I got them from my doctor dad and wrote quick notes about it. So. If you are interested in gathering more research. Look these up.

Proto-porphyria

Porphyria

Lesch-nyan

Mayo Clinic - to look up. Difference between things, good research platform.

Yah this is a nerd one. But like. It would be so intense to have a story about it. So.
